Obion County will start Spring Practice Feb. 9. Any thoughts on how it will go? It will interesting to see how they come out and who will be filling key positions. Anyone else in the area going out now? OC usually doesn't go out this early but Coach is trying to work with Baseball. I as others appreciate the fact that he allows our kids this opportunity. Good Luck boys. We are looking forward to another good season.

It will definitely be an interesting spring practice.The seniors who are graduating left some big shoes to fill.I think the freshman class(next years sophomores) has just as much if not more talent than the group leaving did which could make it an exciting three years at Troy.The defense will be solid as all of the lineman return from last year.Things have turned around for the football program at OC and I hope it continues to get even better.

Crockett Co should be going out sometime this week. Obion Co and Crockett Co are supposed to scrimmage at the conclusion of spring drills. Don't know about others in the area.

Union City is in spring practice now as well.They have a scrimmage set up with Camden and Lewis County,but I'm not sure.I also heard that OC was trying to get a scrimmage up with Huntingdon.

From what I hear practice went pretty good today. Alot of hard hitting today. Bacon, Grady and Cruce ran the quarterback position and Clanton in the runningback position with Mark Grooms also running some. Practiced in the arena today maybe weather will allow them to get on the field some

Practice went well today. Won't be practicing in pads tommorrow just conditioning. No injuries just bumps and bruises.

Yeah I have a nephew on the team and he's been pretty sore.It was good he gave the boys a day off.No need in getting burnt out.

Does anybody know whether Obion Central scrimmaged Crockett Co. today.If so,how'd it go?

Obion Co will scrimmage Crockett Co next Thursday or Friday, February 26 or 27 in Alamo. Not sure what time. The scrimmage will be on Thursday, unless the weather is bad, in which case it will be played on Friday.

How do you think spring practice is going. I know alot of the boys are beat up mainly because practicing in the MPB. Maybe this nice weather will allow them to get outside.

thanks for the info, powerset! it seems like football season was JUST over! oh well, good luck boys w/the scrimmage. we're sure gonna miss earnest!
