I was proud to be a Rebel last night but that game is behind us and now it's time to move on to our county cousins. GOOD LUCK REBELS!!!!!!

I am friends with the Parker's and I don't believe all of these rumors that Logan is leaving OC for Dyersburg. I won't believe these rumors until I hear it from The Parkers. Logan has been at every workout session thus far and we have a passing camp at USJ tomorrow in Jackson. Logan also has close friends at OC and I just don't see a move. I could be wrong but I hope I am not. Guys remember this one thing. Coaches come and go. Fans fade away. So whatever you do. DO IT FOR TEAM AND FOR YOURSELF. GOOD LUCK REBELS!!!!!! You have always made me proud to be a REBEL.

VOREBS..... I don't get to listen to your broadcast of the Rebel games but I have heard alot of positive things said about it. I am proud you are back because you are a big part of our Rebel program. You and Russ need to drop in on a Friday meal with the boys... You know you are always welcome....... OC wins this one. This team has alot of heart and even more character. They proved that Friday night against Crockett. They were beat , they knew they were beat but came out the second half and looked like a different team. Good Luck Rebels!!!!!!!

I agree, but Central and Union City both count on the big gate to fund their programs. Can't wait until Friday night!!!!!!!!!

Please don't start that this year give these guys a chance. The boys have been in the gym quite a bit this offseason they should have a few football players coming in after their season is over you never know what may happen but getting on here saying there is no talent not very encouraging do you think? Define talent for me sherlockhomes.

Alot of if's played into this season but none fell our way. As a senior parent, I would like to say that this has been a great four years although this year has not gone the way we would have hoped I will forever carrying great memories of REBEL FOOTBALL. Enjoy the times you have left in the program and never be found guilty of not giving it your all.

GC Fan thanks for the vote of confidence we need it having to change QB during season isn't easy for any team but our freshmen QB is doing a good job and he will continue to get better each game. Good luck againist Covington Friday night if GC plays with the intensity that they played with against OC there just might be a upset in 7-3A Friday night.

Let's see DC fan ya'll beat GC 13-7 with the strongest QB in the west and GC beat OC 20-13 with main QB out with a broken wrist. The way I see it could go either way by the way have you played Covington yet? GC is a very worthy opponent but you wouldn't know that since you beat them so bad. I was told today that this is Dyer Co. Homecoming if so this is the fifth week that OC has seen a homecoming. Rebels played like the team we seen against Covington and UC Friday night. They do have alot of heart they could have let last weeks loss plus the loss of their QB do them in but fortunately they rallied back. Looking forward to going back to that nice stadium. Rebels have been practicing hard this week. Several changes in the REBEL program from the varisty on down. Logan Parker a freshmen will assume the quarterback position for the varsity, Josh Hart has been filling in the QB position for the JV and Chase Clanton stepping in for the freshmen. I hope OC can adjust to the changes, put last week's loss to GC behind them and play like the REBELS we seen against Covington and UC. We as fans need to give these boys alot of encouragement. Hopefully the team will be on the right track by the time we play Dyer and Brighton. I am sure Trenton is going to be ready for us they always are but I am glad this is a nonregion game this week. I am sure we are going to need it. FIGHT HARD REBELS!!!!!!!!

I have alot of respect for GC as an OC fan. It has to be hard for the kids and the coaches. Hang in there GC there will be brighter days. See ya'll at the game. GO REBELS!!!!!!

Is redbirdfan dropping hits that Y105 may broadcast the OC/UC game. If so would this not be a slap in the face to OC and if they do broadcast the game will this not confirm some of the rumors floating around that advertisers in the UC area thought Danny was too " PRO REBEL"?

Being a small business owner I know that there are times when decisions are made on facts and numbers I can tell you the facts and numbers don't always add up. I happen to know that OC has a senior parent that is very ill and could not attend the game against Covington. I know that this parent comes to games when she should be at home and it takes her the whole week to get her strength back just to make the next game. These are the people that are suffering from this decision and I know there are more just like this parent that are not able to attend. I am not going to sit here and belittle the station or anyone associated with it but what if the shoe was on the other foot and you had a son playing and due to circumstances couldn't make the game. Like someone on this thread stated it is not the general publics call to make.

Thank you occhsviachattanooga that poem hits the heart and soul of every parent that has a child playing and as you stated they are boys out there trying to do the best they can for their team, coaches, parents and fans. It is so hard to be objective where your kids are concerned and it hard to see them hurting and when they lose it hurts. I wish everyone could see how hard these boys work not only during the season but off season as well. We have all said things probaly that we shouldn't have said. I have to be honest I didn't think the game would be that close and I am sure the majority of ours fans felt the same thankfully our sons didn't feel the same way. Those boys are special and they represent our school well.

A win would have been great but our guys walked off of that field last night with respect and that is a personal win for our team and the coaches. Keep fighting Rebels.

I just have a problem with useless being used to describe any aspect of our team we knew this was going to be a rough season my son is not sheltered but he is trying to stay focused so during season we prefer that he not get on here i guess if he wanted to we wouldn't stop him. as far as who i am keep guessing???????? REBELS BE STRONG AND BE WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE!!!!!!
