4X4
Bradley's 145 Matt Spain the number 3 seed defeated Boyce of Cookeville the number 2 seed in the semi-finals. It was a good match. Spain won 6-4. It was unfortunate that Spain squealed twice while getting turned with the power half and the ref let him up twice. Maybe we'll get to see a re-match. BattleBornVolunteer
Does anyone have results for Bradley from the semi's?
tophat
The call I got said Bradley won with 12 champions. Matt Spain lost on points and Cooper was winning 10-1 when he got caught in a head throw and was pinned. Biggest news Tinsley finally beat Coleman 11-0, and was named outstanding wrestler. sly
Who beat Spain and Cooper? Who else made state? Spain was pinned by Jackson/Cleveland in the first period and Cooper was winning 10-1 against Cumberland Co. kid and got caught and thrown to his back and was pinned with 1.8 sec. left in the match. 4X4
Congratulations to Bradley on a truly dominating performance at the Region III tournament. It looks like there will be several state champions. I'm not sure about the total team scores, but it was a runaway with all fourteen Bradley wrestlers in the finals. 1st- Bradley 2nd- Cleveland 3rd- Cookeville
