Collinwood girls were defeated by Lebanon Southside. Allons girls beat Hilham and Allons boys won over Lobleville.

Pickett was down by 10 at half time and came back to lose only by 1. Good job boys, look forward to seeing the 8th graders come up.

I think it was 39-38, something close to that. In the second quarter NCS looked as if they were going to blow it open leading by about 10 and controlling the game and dealing with the terrible refs, but after 2 of NCS's starters got in foul trouble and eventually fouled out Pickett came back to tie the game at 37 and NCS had to foul to stop the clock and #10 from Pickett hit one free throw and missed the next, NCS came down court threw the ball to the low post and went up by 1 with 6 seconds left, Pickett then came down court and a guy got a wide open look at the buzzard and it rimmed out. #10 from Pickett county is a serious shooter he was hitting 3's 5ft+ behind the arc. Good job NCS boys, keep up the good work.

St. Joseph's vs. Monteagle in semi-finals. Any predictions?

Yesterday NCS won the middle school boys state championship at the TNT tournament. Great win by 12 points over a very athletic team. Looking forward to seeing these 8th graders develop as they get better (and hopefully taller ) heading into high school. They're another class full of shooters, thats for sure.
