What happened to Elee Puckett at 103 lbs in D-1?

Hey, what happened to Puckett in his match. I heard he got pinned.

He got pinned by Kevon Martin.

Puckett got pinned in 2:45 by a kid he should have smoked to begin with. Puckett and Rudas should have wrestled in the finals, especially after Rudas smoked the Martin kid 9-0 in the finals. Puckett and Rudas would have been a much better match in my opinion.

If I remember right it was 0-0 and Puckett was on bottom to start the second period.

Martin stuck Puckett that means he deserved to win. Martin didnt wrestle good in the finals,but wehn martin lateral droped kenwood twice he showed he deserved to be in the finals.

If he didn't give up a takedown in the first period to the top ranked kid in the state, he was wrestling well. A fluke is when the kid pins when he is down by several points. Martin deserved the win. Give him a little credit.

No, he got pinned by Devon Martin. Kevin is his twin brother who wrestled 112.

 

These guys are always causing huge upsets at the state tournament.

 

Last year, Kevin Martin beat Tike Gooden, the number 1 ranked guy at 112 last year.

Then Martin did not make it to the semifinals, which put Gooden out of the tournament.

What can you say? He got pinned. I bet if they wrestled 5 more times that Puckett would win 4. Just one of those things that doesn't always go in our favor. It's a shame, too, because I believe he would have given Rudas a great finals match.
