yeah coach howard is amazing i heard he was nominated for best coach in the nation too. his amazing talent and dedication to the great sport of tennis lead to this nomonation him and his roots are truely deserving of this

Yes The ROOTS is BACK!!!!!! His swift Momentum and Technique teaches these tennis players how to truely play the game. You just have to respect the way in conditioning he makes the players run with the tennis rackets. All i can say is Wow. I heard that Andy Roddick is trying to get Gregory to become his personal trainer.

Coach Greggory Roots Howard has recently been seen with retired tennis player anna kornikova maybe hes giving her a couple of "tips" on the game he has made so great...look for the picture of them to be on magizine covers everywhere

Great post. Wow, you guys are perceptive--are you sure Howard didn't get his coaching start in church ball--that seems to be where all the SD talent comes from. Seriously, you guys need a life--or more homework. I guess Coach T keeps you off the streets though. By the way, for those keeping score in the real world, its Gregory Howard, "Two-time TACA Coach of the Year for Boy's Tennis." I think the "My Roots" title is more an honorary thing. [and buckle up for Coach Shumate--if you b-ball guys are willing--and tough enough to follow a coach without excuses or whining--you might not have as much time for message boards next year. See you in class. Not that I'm actually Mr. Howard or anything.

Yes this is the Tennis Board g-man so lets talk about tennis not whatever it is you're talking about. *GREGORY* is a very good tennis coach, and with a beard like GREGORY has you get respect....Specially on the Tennis courts.

derek smith has put a lot of time in with chip mincy and waylon morgan making them unbeatable. he has taught them form and power. without derek, chip and waylon would still be only good players, not great players like they are now. thanks derek for saving the sweetwater tennis program.
