GLENDALEFALCON
Springfield, Mo. Glendale High Head Basketball Coach Mr. Steve Hesser,46, was named today as the new Men's Basketball Coach at NCAA Div. II Drury University in Springfield, Mo. Coach Hesser had a 97-39 record over five seasons as Glendale's third head boys basketball coach. Hesser won a Class 5 - District 11 title last season, an Ozark Conf. Winning 752 games... we enjoy having winning seasons in 39 out of our 41 total prep campaigns, Glendale has the best winning percentage(70%) in Springfield and have had sixteen 20-win seasons. We've won more Ozark Conference titles than any other member of the league at fourteen, the only team from Southwest Missouri to win Springfield's well-known prep tournament the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions in 1994, and feature a number of Division 1 players such as Colorado's Kenny Price, Harvard's Tyler Rullman, and Univ. of Washington's Michael McClain. TheEgoHasLanded
I'm kinda surprised Coach Tippett at WSHS didn't get it. I'm not going to belittle the new coach, but Tippett's resume is second to none. His teams have been nationally ranked the last 4 years or so...He has had several players play D1 including Earnest Shelton (Alabama), Robert O' Kelley (Wake), and Dane Bradshaw (UT). He has been one of the best coaches in the city for decades... Your coach must be great if they took him over coach Tippett. Tippett has also won the last few AAA state titles in TN (The largest classification in the state).
