Manning agreed to a 7 yr deal worth 14 million a year....great to see a ol UT player be the highest paid player in the NFL...maybe he can come back and pay for more seats for Neyland....because that would just make it official that we have the best stadium in the land. Did Manning deserve this? I think he did obviously.

Best player in the NFL, never been injured, never missed a game.......certainly no one deserves a contract like this, but if someone does deserve it, it would be Peyton.

Maybe McNair could use Peyton as a role model??

 

I agree that It is ridiculous how much money these athletes and entertainment figures make...........but I love to see Peyton be the one to get it. You know that a lot will come back to the kids and communities. We won't see him in the news with a DUI , rape, or as a murder suspect.

 

How many of the highest paid NFL players actually got their degree? Like Peyton.
