By the way.......I saw Waldrop pitch recently and think he might be the best I've seen thus far. His stuff is absolutely filthy. Just sickening.

Not anyone really, just good teams that hustle. I lean toward teams that play the game the right way. I just like watching baseball tho.........What about you?

What's so bad with keeping up with your area high school baseball and just talking about baseball. I graduated last year (I wasn't all state) and I'm playing ball in college, but I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to talk about baseball...lay off of DII7, he's just trying to talk about what he loves, it's not that he can't get over h/s or anything..... now if he wasn't playing in college I would understand that, but he's taken his baseball to the college level, so I know he's just a fan.....

DII7 hasn't said anything bad at all. He just expressed his opinions just as you guys did. Also, don't listen to bigbadblue. The only time he ever even posts is when someone says something even slightly negative about Cleveland. Then he comes back trying to tell us all how much he played or knew or something about baseball. How in the world did Cleveland lose to William Blount? Soddy beat William Blount. Cleveland is a great team when Carver is pitching, but that's it....sorry.

 

I'm with DII7, I take Moore over Carver until I see Carver go up against he Big Boys! Ryan's an animal - on the mound and at the plate!

No no, I did not mean to make that sound like you guys weren't any good. But according to certain people on here, Cleveland is THE TEAM around here. I actually had a conversation today with an umpire friend of mine about how nobody gives Soddy any credit, but on any given day they will sneak up on you and hurt you. Especially in the district. Everybody says, "Central/Ooltewah." But Soddy could upset either one of these teams this year.

I wasn't jumping on DII7 at all, just asking when he had seen Carver pitch. I have seen Blake pitch against top competition when we were playing in invitationals at Auburn and in Atlanta so I was just wondering. At least he admits that he knows Ryan and that his comments were based on personal preference. As far as DII not saying anything wrong I don't know, I don't really appreciate him implying that I like Carver in a homosexual way or that he's my boyfriend, but then again I guess you have to think about who's saying that. Anyways, best of luck to Moore and Carver throughout the year, I hope they both do great. I'd love to see them both go in the 1st round(I know this won't happen before you start jumping on me). I'm not hating on Moore, just defending Carver and stating my opinion, that Blake is a better pitcher than Ryan. I also believe that Ryan is a better prospect, with tremendous upside. I'd love to see Ryan forget about football and focus solely on baseball, if he did that the only stopping him from wherever he wanted to go would be himself.
