Both Aaron Hall and "Wojo" pitched excellent games. Both pitchers had one bad inning. Other than that, very good ball game. Josh Bird and Daniel Holden both homered in the third inning...accounting for 3 of the 4 William Blount run. No excuses...good ball game. I wouldn't get too cocky though...a one run win over a team with 5 sophomores on the field isn't necessarily anything to brag about.

The gopher ball has really hurt Bearden the past two games.

 

All 5 of West's runs Monday were from homers, too.

 

Hall has had two decent outings for Bearden. That will help Bearden down the road if he continues to pitch well.

Bearden has a young team with a lot of strong talent. Just give them time and by May they will be playing some good ball.
