Smryna scored 8 runs in the first two innings. Jon Patterson came in and gave up one unearned run in five innings. Jonathon Keck hit two home runs, including one that was one of the longest home runs I have seen hit. Both umpires made the comment that it was the longest they could ever remember being hit at that park.

Good to see Keck start swing the bat like I know he is capable of and JP coming in and handling things will bode well for the future. Shutting down a pretty good Smyrna team over 5 innings should give him a lot of confidence. Patterson, if you read this, give me a call on my cell.
