I'm not sure if knowing this will change your predictions on the region outcome, but Westview has all of their returning starters but 3. Last years senior class wasn't that big, but this year we are hoping to come out on top.

Milan will return a strong defense..hard to believe with 16 graduating seniors. Walker will be at tailback.

Humboldt returns their entire offensive line, all of their running backs, altogether 8 starters on offense return, and I'm not that sure about how many they are returning on defense...but they looked VERY dominant in spring against southside and mckenzie.

Huntingdon is in Region 6-2A. Union City and Dresden are the other teams in 7-2A.

After being at the Union City Alcoa State Championship in 2000 I havent heard much about Union City. I go to Alcoa,what happened to Union City since then and whatever happened to that big running back they had that yr that Daniel Pierce stopped at the goal line on the final play of the game.

Union City's program is in a bit of a downslide.They're coming off a 2-8 season.It was their first year under a new coach,and they just couldn't put anything together.The running back you mentioned was Mario McElrath.He got into alot of trouble between his junior and senior season and was booted off the team.It was ashamed b/c he could have been a big time college player.
