Best Goalies in TN

Father Ryan beat Ooltewah using a PK and 2 goals that came where a midfielder left his man completely unmarked and therefore he had a clean chance on goal... you take away those 3 defensive mistakes that any keeper would have been scored on and Ooltewah only loses 1-nil to Father Ryan...you Father Ryan people talk more trash about teams rather than giving your own players props...I guess that embarassment of an Old Man who tried to get in an argument with High School kids at the Ooltewah/Father Ryan girls game back in the Fall was a good representation of yall in general...seriously youre the on person on this board who doesnt think Jeremy Williams is one of the better keepers in the state... and to be honest any select coach would love to have him... last year he helped lead his squad to great showing against TNFC where they drew or had to go to OT to beat him... c'mon dude... really

"The Ootelwah GK is not good, and he wears an ugly headband"...Jeremy, especially for only being a sophmore, is more than solid in goal. His play for our select team in state (and even more so in the Region III regional tournament) was quality...oh and the TNFC game, that wasnt even a real goal they scored on us...It was a deflection off a corner...and even more so in the game against the state champion of florida...they scored with like 23 seconds left on an offside cross in which the kid still barly scored...as for the headband, that's Jeremy's thing =)

exactly... J-Dubs' can play...I dont know where the headband started but he did play for "Team Headband" in indoor soccer at Camp Jordan this year and allowed fewer goals than any other indoor keeper(and he was playing in the U-19 league whereas most 15-/16 year olds were playing in u-16)... maybe he just felt the flow during indoor season and decided to keep the look for luck...

Chris White for cpa, been out most of year with foot injury, 2 of the goals were not legit friday against the best team in state, Fra. One was a pk and the other was an own goal. This guy is for real, he can punt it 3/4 of the field too. Pretty big size in goal at 6'3, but needs to work a little on quickness, has good instincts though.

jeremy is a good keep...it is enough said that this sophmore is being compared to the best seniors and juniors in state...way to go jeremy, keep it up.

but i still think that yall are overlooking miller at ND...he has proved he is strong all year and is probably tops in the area....and he WILL be back for one more year

Or considering that McCallie's back line of Pollack, Hertzog, Catanesse, and Leathem may be one of the top D lines in the state...Posession doesn't always translate to goals...the same can be said the other way around...So just because goals aren't scored doesn't mean the ball was in the other team's control all the time
