Just wanted to give a big congrats to BA's pitcher Shelby Mashburn on pitching a perfect game! Thats awesome and keep of the great work.

Congrats, Shelby! Good luck against the Roarin' Redheads of Father Ryan...there's not a rule against 2 perfect games in a row! ;)

Thursday will be winner of BGA/JP2 game vs winner of St.C/USN game at 3:30. Then BA vs FRHS at 5:30. Friday will be game for 3rd/4th places (at 3:30) and 1st/2nd places (at 5:30). Double elimination tournament. FRHS is tournament host, so all games are there. Top 3 go to State. Hope this makes sense?!

To answer an earlier question BA and Father Ryan should have already qualified for the State Championship tournament since both should not be able to finish lower than third in the bracket. I say this with the understanding that no one has seen an official bracket but the most logical way for it to play out is as follows:

Game 1: BGA v JP2 (Loser goes home)

Game 2: St. C v USN (Loser goes home)

Game 3: BA v Father Ryan (Winners Bracket Final) Loser drops into the loser bracket final (Game 5)

Game 4: Winner Game 1 v Winner Game 2 (Loser goes home)

Game 5: Winner Game 4 v Loser Game 3 / Losers bracket final (Loser goes home but still qualifies for the State Championship Tournament)

Game 6: Winner Game 3 v- Winner Game 5 (If winner game 5 loses they place second and the winner of Game 3 is the champion) Both automatically qualify for the State Championship Tournament, to be held in Mississippi, no one really knows why!

Game 7: If Game

But as I said earlier no one seems to know for sure!

    • You wanna talk about zoned for Bearden.  Lol.  I don't think so.  But my point was who can blame a kid for not wanting to be in a private school.  Nobody is zoned for a private school, it's a free country right?
    • Great win for the Pirates. State Tourney bound !
    • You're talking about the running back, right? I don’t believe he was zoned for west, but there were numerous players that came from TKA a few years ago and still are. I’m sure some are, but the majority aren’t.
    • Gratitude abounds for Blake Satterfield, whose five-year tenure as the head coach and exemplary ambassador for Trousdale County and its educational system has left an indelible mark. His strategic leadership during playoff seasons was nothing short of remarkable. Anticipating that his future endeavors will be equally impressive.  Perhaps the board members will refrain from undermining the incoming coach as they did in Blake's case.
    • Yeah that's true, I was talking more about football.  If you go to a TKA game, there's nobody there.  The only people there are the parents of cheer and parents of players.    The kid that left and came to West was zoned for West and decided to quit private and go public school.  He won two state championships at West, so hard to blame him there.
