Farragut defeats South-Doyle 9-1 on Monday night at Farragut in the District 4-AAA tournament.

 

The Admirals advance to the championship game on Wednesday. South-Doyle remains alive in the loser's bracket.

 

Farragut hit four home runs that accounted for seven of its nine runs in the game.

 

Winning pitcher: David Catapano. He had 10 strikeouts and two walks.

Losing pitcher: Lee Vannoy. He had nine strikeouts and four walks.
