Personally, I'm shocked. Things were going so well. Do you think KC will still get that MLS invitation?

soccerpro1, I just don't know about that MLS stuff maybe they should go for the Champion's league. Anyway, I think that KC has a few good players but what I can't understand is how they cover up all of those spots that look so weak. Seemed like good coaching to me.

legolas, come now. There aren't that many holes. This is, essentially, the exact same team (lost one starting senior) that lost to CBHS 3-2 in last year's state semifinal. As for soccerpro1, Catholic's coaching is in great hands with ND Chattanooga and Maryville College alum, Peter Rosenblad who is just finishing his first season replacing Don Beardsley. Coach Rosenblad will be talked about the way Jimmy Weekley is in coming years. Good luck to Webb and the Irish in Memphis.

I'm not basing my comments on winning the championships. Catholic is too small and won't recruit, so winning in any sport is always very challenging. That doesn't mean Coach Rosenblad isn't one of the best young coaches in Tennessee. Coach Weekley has had fantastic success at Baylor but he would still be a great coach, person and teacher even if he hadn't had the athletes he has been blessed with to win all those championships. If Coach Weekley had been at most other schools, he would have had a much more difficult time winning, but he still would be a great coach. I just think you can have a great coach and not even get close to the state tournament. The state tournament sheds light on a coach's ability, it doesn't necesssarily define it.
