Soddy self-destructed in the bottom of the third, giving up seven runs (six after a two-out error), and they're down 9-2 right now with 2 on 2 out top 4.

 

Looks like 5-0 or 6-0 Farragut top 6 over at Sowell, can't quite tell from 800 feet away.

I'm over at Gagliano, but when the guy keeping score at Sowell came over, his words were, "Wow, Farragut's is awesome."

Larson was very impressive. Four straight K's at one point, and he just cruised. The only time he got roughed up any was a sequence where he went flyout walk strikeout dropped popup, double off the wall, dropped popup, strikeout.

 

Out of curiosity, do we know yet what level college he'll probably end up? Today alone told me he'll have the opportunity to pitch for somebody after HS is over unless there's major injury of some sort.

The pro scouts were also seen watching Larson this season. If he improves as much from next year as he did this year, I see him as a very nice D1 prospect.

I wouldn't say Farragut ripped the ball all day long. They had nine hits, and I know 3 were infield hits. They had only 3 extra base hits. I'm not knockin them they have a solid team, their team speed and defense are tremendous.
