Thursday AAA Updates

I'm sure by now most folks have seen the box score over on tssaa.org, but here's a quick synopsis on Farragut-Hunters Lane.

 

Farragut started Sherrard on the mound. Wriggled out of trouble in the first, and then F scored 2 quick ones. Eldridge led off with a 2B, and that set the tone. Sherrard finished 3 shutout innings, while F cruised out to a big lead. David King and Tony Delmonico each had 2-run HR for the Admirals. PHeyming and TPowell/Drew Reagan pitched the 4th and 5th innings. To HL's credit, they didn't quit -- strung enough base hits together to get 2 in the 4th and 4 in the sixth to force the Admirals to play the bottom 5th. Cody Brown plated the game-ending run.

 

The Admirals now play the winner of Hunters Lane/Munford which should be underway now. That game would be tomorrow 10am at Gagliano.

There are a few places where you can see hail damage but they aren't real bad. Hail stinks.

Understand re: hail. I'd hate to re-do what was just done, but that's the way things go. Are Brewers still playing?

yea we had a game last night, they won, i had to work...i think theres a game today but i have to work again
