I`m really looking forward to this scrimmage,it should be a really good test for both teams. My Patroits are starting to take shape, and are adjusting to the new offense and D very well.Coach Euverard has already made alot of changes, that I think will help this team a bunch.Alot of players have been moved to play new positions they have never played before,so there is alot of learning this week.I`m really excited to see how the moved players do in their new positions.Central has a good amount of athletes so the scrimmage will be fun to watch for sure.BTW does anyone know what time the scrimmage is suppose to start?

The scrimmage should begin around 6:00 PM, however Central will not be full speed. There are several nicks and bruises as Central will be returning from camp on Thursday evening. I think both teams will probably be exhausted and just trying to keep pace. Next weeks Central scrimmage with AE should tell more about the team.

The bobcats have however looked good this week practicing with Bearden.

I was looking forward to this scrimmage, also, but I went over to TN Tech yesterday to watch practice and a number of 1st string kids are nursing some injuries. I don't think Helton will want to risk too much just for a scrimmage. It will be interesting to see how he plays it.

How about Jeff Co? Have they been at a camp and how have they looked?

Jeff Co did not go anywhere for camp, like most teams we have been having 2 adays this week. Its tough to judge where this team is right now because everything is so new.The practices are more of a learning thing, than a execution thing,it will come though. The offense & D look good,it always does when your playing against your own guys.I`ve heard Central has a stud at WR,what can you tell me about him?

JC4life--the kid you are talking about is Terence Scott. He is a senior WR/DB. He has excellent speed and cover skills. Helton thinks he is as good as anybody in the state. Has recieved a number of letters from D1 schools all over the country. UT has asked for game film and if they offer, he would love to go there.

    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
