Never underestimate LC! They always seem to pull thru! On the other hand, FC has a GREAT team this year. They play to win and they play w/ heart! Coach Mantooth has been a huge asset to FC. His staff and his boy's will get the job done!

Franklin County is highly over rated so far. This will be their first big test of the season. The Rebels have the 54th toughest schedule in the state. Lincoln County has the 32nd. Franklin County has played 3 teams in their first four games who aren't 5A. However, that doens't mean that those teams aren't as good as 5A teams. Lincoln County has played 3 tough teams: Franklin's strength rating is 8th, Blackman's is 18th, and Riverdale's is 2nd. Franklin County's ? Father Ryan 7th in Division II, Tullahoma 41st, Cumberland County 44th, Hillsboro (good team but not as good as in years past) 23rd. I think this game will be close. Franklin County does have better talent so far this season. However, you must look at the team's they have played compared to Lincoln County's. Lincoln County played the number 19 team in the nation and lost 49-0. Lincoln County will not see that kind of explosive offense or defense from Franklin County. I feel the Falcons will win this game in a close one. 17-14 LC. If the Rebels win this game, I will admit that I was wrong by stating they were "highly over rated." But they have yet to show me a good solid win. Franklin County only won by 6 points against Hillsboro last Friday Night. Friday night will tell all.

If you think the Rebels are over rated then you are too. Ya'll barely beat blackman. The Rebels could have beaten them by as much as they wanted. Hillsboro is still a great team. They have a ton of speed. The Rebels have shut down the run of all the teams they have played, so if they stop Gregory. They stop The Faclons. Ive watched a game of u guys and they quarterback needs some serious help. I think the Rebels are just going to be to powerful for yall and I look for them to go away with a victory.

Gregory has been stopped in every game. Blackman did let him gain a few yards but not like 2003. Gregory to me isn't that good of a running back. I think Lincoln County will go to the air. Brince Ellis will most likely become starting quarterback this week after another lack luster performance by Gus Fraley. Fraley just can't seem to get all his act together. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for the first few games but in the Riverdale game he fully demonstrated that he can't be fully productive. I believe if Fraley does start and struggles, Thompson will bring in Ellis. Ellis basicaly saved the Falcons from losing to Blackman. I feel this game will be a game of turnovers. The team who makes the most mistakes will lose. Lincoln Couty's defense is pretty good. They aren't spectacular but they aren't lack luster either. The Falcons kicking game is very strong. I still feel it will be a close game. As a member of the media I won't vote Franklin Cuonty as a contending team until they beat Lincoln County. If they win this game , they deserve kudos. I just don't see the Rebels winning this game. The only disadvantage for LC is their morale. How will the Falcons react after recieveing the worst defeat in school history ? The players seem pretty confident that they will defeat the Rebels. I guess we shall see friday night

I wasn't aware that Ivan was going to effect Middle TN. That would really stink if this game got postponed.
