Milan vs. JCM

Milan and JCM play Friday night at Johnnie Hale Stadium in Milan. Both teams come in undefeated but one will go home with a loss. Who will it be? JCM is looking like an awesome team this year. Milan lost a lot of talent but has pulled out a win in all their games this year. I know this post will see a lot of action, who do you like and by how many?

No way Milan wins this one. The BIG game will be JCM/Haywood.

 

The only thing interesting to talk about this game is the fact that Milan won`t be big boys and come play at Rothrock.

VG - I thought you were gonna let this thing drop a couple of weeks ago? The contract that was signed hasn't been rewritten by Milan. The original contract was to play at North Side. I think it was your guys idea not to play there wasn't it? At least you guys get the gate. I think it should be a big one since both teams are undefeated.

Actually JCM would like to play at Rothrock, but Milan wouldn`t agree to it so we settled on Northside in order to get a 10th game in. Over the summer the school board said we could not play at Northside. It was not JCM`s decision.

 

It`s still not to late for Milan to do the right thing. Milan is catching a lot of heat on 101.5 from fans and from the sports radio crew there about not agreeing to split the home games.

Milan will take the heat in the media but the prior JCM coaching staff is the one who signed the contract. I know it probably doesn't look good but this is the way the deal was drawn out. I don't think if it would have only been a home and home that Milan would have agrred to sign the deal. Did the previous coach know he was leaving or was the timing just bad?

Being a Union City fan, I've seen both teams play. I think JCM is much bigger and stronger. Both teams are equally fast, but JCM might also have the edge. It still will be a barn burner regardless. JCM by touchdown

Just bad timing.

 

Milan DID originally agree to play the game at Northside. That plan got nixed this past summer. Had we played at Northside, the JCM band would be handling concessions like they always do at JCM home games to raise money. Since the game has now been moved to Milan, the school should give concession money to the JCM band. Milan was never going to run concessions in the original contract they signed. That would be done by JCM.

 

JCM has bent over backwards to accomadate Milan and their reluctance to play at Rothrock. If Milan refuses to do the right thing by playing at the Rock, the least they should do is fork over the concession money to the JCM band.

Just shut up. This post is not about where do you think they should play. It is who do you think will win. Your just looking for a reason to bash Milan. But Milan is use to that, everybody does that every year.

I know who will win the only question is where it will be.

 

I`m not bashing Milan. I have great respect for the team. I just can`t understand why a program like Milan would refuse to play at Rothrock. I`ve talked to several Milan fans and they can`t understand either. Maybe you could offer up an explanation. Milan is regarded as one of the best programs around. It`s hard to believe that they won`t travel. On last night`s post game show on 101,5 the hosts went into detail that they always percieved Milan as a team that would play anyone...anywhere. They too were surprised that Milan would not go to Rothrock.

 

Sorry if you think it is bashing Milan, but that was Milan`s decision so I guess you`ll have to live with it JCM has bent over backwards to accomodate your school. I guess we are the team that will play anyone...anywhere.

This will be a great game. But in the end i think Jcm will win by about the margin of the game last year

it's just that this year jcm will be on the winning side.
