I agree LA has a fine head coach and a asst just as adequate. Come tournament time the Lady Cats should be fined tuned and giving other teams fits.

Like yuckamuck said, give details. Why do you say that? Everyone knows that LA lost a lot but Clay County was in the state tournament last year and returned a couple of leading scorers, right? Was Clay County that bad? If LA is as bad as you say, then Clay County must be worse than I expected them to be.

Let me rephrase that...it COULD be a looooooooong year for LA.

 

Last night Mullins got in foul trouble and that really hurt em, but McCoin came in and was the 2nd leading scorer. If they can play good defense, without fouling and if they can look for and knock down the open shots they will be fine. We have 4 new starters, it's going to take a couple of games for everyone to get adjusted. If they can get it together they will be be able to compete with the best of 'em.

I agree both teams will get better as the year goes on, CLAY CO. Also started THREE player that had no playing time from last season.

CLAY CO- they were weak at the guard position, physically that is...paige will have that team competing with tough teams before it is over..

 

LA- Handy had a pretty good game. yes they did get into foul trouble. everyone is sayin LA is gonna be terrible but how terrible could they be...the same team they have this year practiced against last years state champs for two years...cant be that bad..as soon as they find their groove, it should be interesting.

 

 

For the game itself, it was sloppy, the officals let them play inside, if u went in their you wouldnt gettin a foul called....both teams have potential....LA to do good this year will have to have the young ones step up...like mccoin, stephens, nd matthews...they all have potential...and whem ledbetter gets back...Well just wait...it will alll come around
