Johnson County at Greeneville

I listened to part of this 83-19 slaughter of Johnson County at the hands of the Lady Devils. How early did Burkey send in his JV squad?(Realizing of course his jv could hang with a lot of varsity squads)How many points did Lyons and Manuel have?I hear everyone on the team had points except 1 freshman.

Hey Barb , Lyons and Manuel didn't even play much if any in the second half. The younger gals not only held , but built on the lead. Rachel Collins had a double-double according to that crazy radio guy...lol...She had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Lyons had 13 and Samantha White had 10. All except Payne scored and she would have had the slaughter not ended when it did. I am really encouraged by the play of the younger ones on this team. Friday at Morristown West will be a test , but next Tuesday at home against Jefferson County might be the first real league test.

Not much of a test for the lady devils last night. It was really good for the younger players to get some time on the floor. The girls basketball at Greeneville looks to be very good for the next several years. A little bit more competition coming up Friday but next week will be (or should be) a tremendous game.
