Kingston vs Gibbs- Kingston

Kingston vs Cumb.- Cumb by 10 or 12

Will edit as soon as my manager can find the score book.

160 for us was injured during practice this past Sunday. Going to doctor today, hopefully he'll be back soon. Of course, he didn't wrestle last night. Cumberland came ready and we weren't. The have improved and it showed. Cook made a few adjustments in his line-up that helped in the total outcome, but bottom line is they kicked our butts! We forfeited 112 and Hwt.

Back to practice today to get ready for Rhea Co. tomorrow. Will need all we can get for that one. Need to get my 171-Hwt to start pulling some points or it could be a long January!

Anyone have the breakdowns on Karns and Farragut?

Thanks Jackson! What happend to Tim from CO at HVY? Why didn't he wrestle? Did Lazarus beat him in a wrestle off?

How did AJ Farinella get stuck? He did a great job in Collins Hill. I was surprised that he got pinned!

Blankenship dropped to 152? I'd have to see his BF test results. The kid didn't look like he had much weight to lose. If he is going to stay at 52, this should be an interesting region tourn. Never got an answer on my question about Smith from South Doyle. Is he still wrestling? Also, if Blankenship is staying at 52 that will open the door for someone else at 60.

He was 152 last year but there when Turner came out he went up. He's always been a light 160. He should do well at 152.

South Doyle Inv. Tournament

Team Finals

1- Webb

2- Jeff Co.

3- Kingston

Good 8 team tournament. Catholic was a no show. Could have made a difference in some of the finals. Tournament started a little later than I would have liked, but finished around 5pm. Pool format which gave most wrestlers 3 or more matches.

Dean Smith-Webb OW, but could have gone to Scandlyn from Kingston. Yep, a little biased! Congrats to Dean, good wrestler, and even better kid! As is Scandlyn.

We were without 119- Roddy and 160- Joslin, both out with injuries. Both are day to day injuries. Not sure when I'll have them back. Hopefully by regions!

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
