DAL
Don't Forget about: 103: kid from Maryville 112: kid from William Blount 119: Watson from Sevier County 125: Webb from Seymour and Shields from Maryville 135: Shuler from Seymour 145: Hendricks from Maryville and Wilson from Seymour 152: Pigeon Forge has a tough kid in the area of 152/160. 160: Sansevero from Sevier County and Landon Hall of Maryville . Sevier County also has a Transfer from Deleware that is pretty tough. One of them may drop to 152. 171: Jamie Henry from Sevier County and Bull from Greenback. 189: Cable from Maryville and the kid from Sevier County 275: Sevier County kid and Ethan Flynn from Seymour. The Region II Tournament will be very competitive this year. The number of quality wrestlers in this Region has vastly grown. All these kids listed have a good shot at placing in the Region. Normally, we go into the Region II event, sort of knowing who will win the majority of the weight classes. There are several weight classes that are wide open. For example, Justin Knox will win the 171 pound weight class (barring any unforseen illness or injury). Now, I have not sen all the other 171 pounders yet and I mean no disrespect to them, but he is on another level. Physically and Mentally. 140 really depends on the health of Dix. If he is back and healthy, he wins it. 215: Reveiz should win it but you can't count out the kid from Gibbs. 275: Some say Hazelett has a lock on it but you can't count out Big John Vandergriff from Halls. In Heavyweight Class, anything can happen. 125: Henderson, Shields, Geren, Webb all have a shot at winning it. 103, 112, 119, 130, 135, 145, 152, 160, 189 titles are very open. Then again, I have not seen everyone in the Region yet and things do change.
KCHSCoach
In the 17 years I have been coaching I have never seen Region II so competitive from top to bottom in individual weight classes. I know Region II has grown in number of teams, but the quality of wrestling has improved as well. Should be a fun tournament to watch. discoverwrestle
Rigger, i wasn't predicting who would win, just listing competitors. Cute though. Need to get off the farragut train and post something interesting.

rcpatriot
I don't believe Roddy and Hibbert have wrestled this year, yet. I do know they didn't wrestle when we met Karns early in the year. I believe they did face each other last year, not sure though.
slimwrastler54
Kid from Maryville is good at 189 or 215 don't know what he's wrestling. Is hazlett staying at 275? That sure is awful to hear that about Dix.
