It's about time someone listens to what I say....thanks Oakland.  Here is what I'm talking about.  Siegel, to me, has not really played anyone yet that is going to be a force in the state, except for one maybe.  They got beat at home against White Co. that is decent and they have not really got into their district play yet.  They have got Oakland twice, at Blackman (which to me, may start coming together and have a good player or two), and at White Co. which has beaten them already.  It will be hard for anyone in 7-AAA or 8-AAA to win out before tournament time.  To me they didn't really play anyone at Christmas time to improve their team.

Obviously Siegel had enough folk that thought they warranted the ranking or they wouldn't have gotten the votes to receive it. And obviously you didn't get a vote.

Don't know how Todd did.  I had the score called in to me.  Heard Leb didn't have a great game but fortunately came out with the W.

Broke that streak which is always good. That Cross has one of the prettiest shots I have seen.

Yes he does.  I think he's surprised some folks this year.  He is more than a QB.

I had always heard he was a Bball player first and didn't even play football all 4 yrs.

How quickly we turn. Both of these coaches were revered last year and are being questioned this year. Coach Burks seems to have really been hurt by the departure of the football kids that would have added a lot. At the same time the chemistry has been off since this batch of football kids has come in. After winning a ring in one sport it seems to take away a little bit of hunger to succeed. Coach Keil at Lebanon seems to be struggling to adjust his style to Lebanon. It appears people understand his press much better now. A little half court pressure defense along with execution of the half court offense will cure what ails his squad. After defeating us last night and an easy upcoming game against Warren County in which they can work the kinks out the Oakland game will tell the tale most likely.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
