This district is horrible this year. Is this last years junior high squads playing varsity now??? ....... Your best team got murdered by an "ok" BGA squad.

Thanks for you opinion...........Stay in Nashville and watch your private schools play. As for me, I would rather watch two small towns battle it out. Even if the district is down this year..

so by your logic 4nash, dist 9 must be really horrible then because the current 4th place team in this dist. summetown beat the current 2nd team in dist 9 ezell, thanks for pointing that out

They defeated them by a small margin and Ezell didn't have their big man from what I hear. He's their team...without him they aren't very good. Columbia Academy is ranked third in your district and they got beat by montessori.....ha  ......

CA played a great game tonight but came up short in a overtime loss to Wayne Co. CA's point guard hit a jumper at the elbow with about 2 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime. There where many lead changes throughout the game. Wayne Co. has a very good team and is deserving of their state ranking. This game could have gone either way and again I will say there is great parity in district 12-A. Should be a great district tourney.

    • It's time to play everybody's favorite game of how is this season going to go. I'll undertake the fool's errand of a prediction. Encourage the region 2 fans to do the same. Cloudland: Top until they get beat always seem to perform year in year out with a small changing roster. Cosby, North Greene: These two could finish in either order they didn't have big senior classes. Lots of young guys got experience last season and most of their best athletes are upperclassmen it'll depend on coaching and if the kids can put it all together.  Jellico, Unaka: Like the two above could finish in either spot both of them lost key pieces to graduation. It'll depend on how returners play and if young guys can fill shoes.  Hancock: Small roster size devastated by a big senior class that took a lot of the experience and athleticism with them.
    • Confident that Marion, Moore, and Gordonsville are losses.  7-3 would be a nice turnaround.  5-5, 4-6, 3-7, etc. and it's a disappointment
    • Win the Watertown game, you can start 4-0. Lose it and you might be anywhere from 0-4 to 3-1.
