WHAT IS WRONG WITH CASCADE!!!!! This team is Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde right now. They are falling fast, and I am just curious as to why. All the top teams in the district have beat them in the last game. They should still make region, but is this the team that is ripe for the upset? I hope they can pull it out.

Well the answer is simple... you got to put the ball in the basket.

Cascade's "D" is doing its job, but they can't score. Hopefully they can finish in the top 4 and host a first round district game. Their last four games of the year are at Cascade ( Cornersville, Richland, Eagleville, and Webb), so hopefully they can get their scoring back in order at home. If they don't, it will be that much harder for them to go on the road the first round of the district and get a win.

Defensively, they are playing good. They have allowed 58 pts., to Moore Co. in a loss, 57 to Culleoka in a win, and one other time they have given up 51 pts. Other than those 3 games, they have held people under 50 all of the second half of the season. Against Huntland, when you hold a team to 24 first half points and a game total of 45.... you should win  . They have struggled hitting layups and free throws here in this losing streak that they are in.

Right now the way to beat them, is to let them shoot layups or foul them and make them shoot free throws.

I can't believe a team can start a season off so well then just go in the opposite direction  . Gallagher just can't seem to put the ball in the basket, and cascade's wings aren't shooting the open shots when they get the chance to, if they miss a couple then they don't want to shoot  . At hunltand, huntland just started to play off the three point line and stayed in the paint to force cascade to shoot 3's but cascade didn't shoot

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
