Just wondering what is everyone's predictions. Walker Valley has this one wrapped up pretty much already....they return a lot of key players.

Who is second and down....

 

Who are the key players for each team??

ok let's not give it to Walker Valley just yet... McMinn Central will definitely give them a run for their money, if not "suprise" them with a victory... we will just wait and see come season... Central returns 10 seniors, has 2 freshman playing up that will see a lot of time, a handful of juniors, and 2 sophmores

Well WV pretty much lost nothing from last year. A right fielder that should be replaced by Matt Douglas very easily. They lost 2 pitchers pretty much thats it. WV has a lot of arms in their arsenal, but one big concern for everyone is gonna be Chris Jenkins. He has decided he can't stay away from baseball and should help WV out a ton this year on the mound. The question for WV this year is their pitching. Offense and Defense should be good if they play like they did last year. I believe it will be very hard to beat them with the talent and experience they have in the 05 season.

WV will be the team to beat in 5AA. With the return of Jenkins to the team, they will be the frontrunner. How come he decided to come back? Maybe he can be the stud of the staff with the graduation of Dye & Stephens. He might have kept the

the stangs out of Memphis last year by not playing. He will make a big difference

this year. I remember him as a sophmore agaonst us & throwed pretty hard.

How could you not mention meigs? they are returning nearly everyone except the kid who went to lee. Meigs should finish 1 or 2 if they play to their potential. walker valley is definitely the favorite, but don't be surprised if meigs comes out hot this year.

you've got to be kidding to even consider meigs for 1... 1 is on lockdown for either WV or Central... the rest are fighting for 3rd place

I can't see how Central can be so sure that they can beat Meigs. I mean Meigs is the one who put them out of the district tournament last year and they have almost everyone back. I also believe that Meigs will be pretty good this year.

well i will say that i am a fan of central's... but i still say that the 1 and 2 spots will go to WV and Central, not in any specific order...

tellico plains gave central a run for their money last year, but the refs killed our chances. mc won 7-6. but no doubt in my mind, wv is the team to beat, they are winning machines, but meigs and central could bring some heat to everyone this year, but we have to see and wait dont we?
