DII early picks

i think its about time to start the preseason polls

i want to see everyones picks for the end of the season region standings in division II. winner, runner up, and darkhorse for each region.

In the east, I predict:

 

1. Baylor

2. Notre Dame

3. Knoxville Catholic

4. Mccallie

5. Knoxville Webb

 

The east this year is really hard to call. I think its safe to say Baylor will be going to state, but anything can happen. Catholic lost some key seniors, and Webb lost Russel who was one of the top players in the region last year. I think Notre Dame is young and has alot of talent. Mccallie always puts together a good team. The east, much like last year, is full of parity and it should make for an exciting year. Good luck to all teams.

My Middle picks:

2. USN

3-6. MBA, BA, BGA, JP2 (the 3rd state bid is wide open)

7. MTCS

8. College Heights

9.Webb School

10. Sewanee

 

Actually I could even see USN miss out on state this year, this region will be wide open. I expect Ryan to Dominate but other than that it looks open to all.

Catholic lost alot as well to graduation...I don't know if Webb should drop that far just because of Russel. They obviously had a very solid team last year, with or without him. East is a toss up. Of couse, that only makes the games that much more fun.
