I think CA would have to be the favorite, when consider they win it every year. How many starters did they lose from last year.

its definetly ca as long as emily ford is running the mound they will be good she has good speed and great control and then they have a pretty good lineup so if they can avoid injury there looking pretty good....good luck to all the teams tho

From what I saw last year this is a solid team not just one player. I agree Ford is a great pitcher but they have several very good players. Especially the young cather she may be the best I have seen.

C.A. will win this one . They have a great chance of going to state this year . They have a good hitting line up and one of the best pitchers in the state with Emily Ford

Well I saw most of the games this weekend, all I can say is I am glad CA is not in 11a this year. And that Summertown better have some great ones playing basketball now or it wont even be close. CA is solid top to bottom with great pitching. I would say CA pitcher was the best one there this weekend. And there were some good ones. Ezell threw several pitchers against them and none of them could hold them down. Lincoln and Boyd also had a really good pitcher. Our Culleoka team fared well also except against CA that was a no contest. Thanks for a good weekend.

I'M PICKING SUMMERTOWN. LAST YEAR THEY WENT 27-12 WITH 4 OF THOSE 12 COMING TO GILES CO., COLUMBIA CENTRAL, OAKLAND, AND DAVID LIPSCOMP. AND OF THE OTHER 8 LOSES 5 WERE NON-REGION!!! AND I KNOW THEY GOT A FRESHMAN THAT CAN PITCH A BALL BETTER THAN SOME SENIORS!!!!

Remember. Summertown has 4 or maybe 5 starters on the basketball team and 3 of them are pitchers. And yes some of them are great players at more than one position. Not to mention their hitting.I think they can bring enough to at least let CA know they can play ball, unless CA goes out and recruits some more players.
