fish5
Coaching advantage ????? Columbia! 825595507 I'm an Eaglettes fan, and I fully expect Columbia to handle us tonight. Moore's a good coach and should have a bright future, but Insell has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the best girl's basketball coach in Tennessee and has the record to prove it - in good years and in bad years. Every great coach gets outcoached on occasion, and so has Insell - but assuming Shelbyville loses tonight, it won't be because Moore outcoached Insell; it's because Columbia has the stronger horses. Coaching can only take you so far; and year after year Insell takes his charges farther than anyone else in Tennessee would with the same talent! Assuming Columbia wins tonight, we're behind the Lady Lions. They're representing District 8 (their first district title in 40 years) and we Shelbyville fans want the Lady Lions to go all the way if you get by us. Good luck to the winner in the next few games! drp711
Who wins the third time around? My money is on the Eaglettes. Insell has his team playing well in tournaments and are coming off a big win at White Co. Columbia had to struggle to get by Cookeville. Shelbyville by 8. 825592753 columbia will win whether u like it or not it will be a close game shelbyville thrives under pressure #14 wont play she got flu go lions thumb
wall
Coaching advantage, Columbia, WOW. She is a great young lady and coach but to say she has an advantage over a person with 30 years experience, 700+ wins and 10 state championships, GIVE ME A BREAK. I will give them talent and more athletes than Shelbyville but the game still has to be played. For what this young inexperienced Shelbyville team has accomplished so far, I don't give up on them against anyone anywhere. Only time will tell. thumb 825596487 coach moore has totally turned this girls basketball program around, i never thought i'd ever see the team make it past district tournament much less the state tournament. just because she's young doesn't mean she's not a better coach, shelbyville's couch has impressive stats but maybe after thirty years things are startin to go down hill

To take what he has to this point in the season, 20-11, and still even have a shot at making it to the state is nothing short of a miracle. This will blow your mind: He actually deserved Coach of the Year for the District. Columbia and Lincoln Co. have very good teams but they have the horses, he is still in the race without the horses. How did that happen? Coaching, getting far more out of what he had than was there. I don't make these statements to take anything away from either of those two coahes, they have done a great job but they had talent, athletes and experience. Shelbyville had very little of any of those necessary requirements to win. thumb
