Yes its true Mt. Juliet is human after all.

I give Wilson Central credit for getting the victory.

Mt. Juliet had the ball the last 2 minutes of the 4th. quarter with the score tied and decided to hold it for the last shot. Unfournately they didn't get exactly the shot they wanted and the game went to overtime.

Congraulations Wilson Central and good luck in sectionals and maybe we'll get a rematch in the State Finals.

Well, what do you know, some humility, finally. I kept trying to tell you, you have to play each game at this point and anything can happen. We are still playing and so are you and if we both win we will meet in the first game of the state. Only time will tell. thumb

WAY TO GO LADY WILDCATS!!!!!!! GREAT GAMES BY ALL OF THE LADY WILDCATS. SARA DID A GREAT JOB ON CLARK (even thought she had about 16) and EVERYONE ELSE SHUT THEIR LADY BEAR DOWN!!! Bud almost climbed into the stands after the games. WE GET TO PLAY AT HOME AGAIN.

Wildcats also beat Beech 45 - 40.

omg what a game!

the reason we only scored 2 points in the 4th, was because we held the ball for a minute + every time we got the ball. i believe we would of won by more in regulation if we would of just kept playing ball. we were up 31-21 at one point. our student section was absolutely electrified. we were going crazy the entire game, specifically the 2nd half and OT. even the parents of both teams were big time getting into it. the last 3 minutes where everybody in the arena was yelling and on their feet was absolutely awesome to be a part of. i was, however, very dissapointed w/ the Mt. Juliet student section. there couldn't of been more than 30 students there, and they didn't even stand up for the 1st quarter. i can't believe that, ESPECIALLY considering the fact that their team was ranked #2 in the nation.

anyway, what a game. i can't wait to see Mt. Juliet again in state (and yes, we WILL see them in state for a 5th time this season.)

LOL. I was just asking two other people on this forum from WC that. He doesnt have an email or plus account though so only way anyone can find out is if he tells someone either here or if he emails them.

I have no idea though who WC22 is.

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
