How did teams in the Watauga Conference and the surrounding area open up?

Volunteer beat South Greene 3-1 and I heard a rumor that a Watauga team that was picked to finish middle of the pack beat the team that some think could win state in AAA, but that couldn't be right, could it?

i wouldnt say that north will be middle of the pack, probably 3rd maybe even 1 or 2, and i wouldnt say that db will win state, maybe go to state, but north did beat db 1-0 or at least thats what the scoreboard says.

I didn't say they would finish middle of the pack, others did. With Geoff Hinkle on the hill, when he is on, they are as good as anyone in upper east Tennessee.

How did UC do against Crockett?

 

North beating DB was probably the best thing that ever happend to DB and probably the worst thing that could have happend to North. DB gets brought back down to earth a little everyones telling them there awesome and them getting beat helps them realize there not they could be but not yet. North on the other hand now they've got the big head probably getting all cocky.

fleming, u wouldnt be saying that if volunteer would have beaten db. its good for north, it shows that they can play with the big boys and that maybe teams are underestimating them.

 

uc beat crockett, 8-7 as the scoreboard says but other than that, i have no idea.

I don't know that DP was very far off considering that North barely got past Hampton today.
