JV Girls Pre-Christmas Tourney hosted by ECS Memphis, TN 12/19-12/22

ECS will again be hosting it's annual Girls JV tourney on December 19th thru 22nd at it's Legacy Center gym located at 7600 Macon Road, Cordova, TN. Entry fee is $180 and you are guaranteed 3+ games. Last year's participants included:

 

Collierville JV, Fayette Academy JV, St. Agnes JV, MHEA JV, ECS JV, Westminster, FCA Nighthawks, Brighton JV, Briarcrest JV, White Station JV, Bartlett JV, Louisville, KY and St. Georges JV. We will close registration once we reach at least 12 paid teams and no more than 16 teams.

Last call for teams interested. We now have 9 teams and will draw brackets over Thanksgiving so if you are interested you must send in registration over next three days. Following are the teams thus far:

  1. ECS
  2. Fayette Academy
  3. FCA Nighthawks
  4. St. George's
  5. Collierville
  6. Ripley, TN
  7. Brighton
  8. St. Agnes
  9. MHEA

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county  
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
