The snow will be gone after the warm weather from this weekend and school will resume on Monday.  There were several district games that were moved and even some out of district games that were cancelled as a result.  Last night 3 of the 4 district contests that were scheduled were played.

Creek Wood beat Hickman County by 12

Fairview beat Camden by 20

On the boys side it's been a year where anyone can be beaten by anyone else on any given time.  Fairview is the number one team in the district but they haven't found a way to beat Creek Wood.  An early season loss to Camden could come back to haunt them next week.  Creek Wood is hoping to win against East Hickman and hoping Stewart County knocks off Fairview however last time Creek Wood played East Hickman they lost the game and that could be a costly slip up at the end of next week.  Stewart County looked like the best team in the district the first half of the season and then they looked like they wouldn't be able to win again in a six game skid.  The Rebels found their stride this past week going 3-0 and have the inside track to the #3 seed in the district.  If they stumble there is a crowd of teams behind them in Lewis County, Camden, and East Hickman who could all finish as high as #3 and as low as #7 in the district at the end of next week.  Waverly is the #7 team currently but they got a big win tonight over East and they are hoping that a couple of (they play Camden at home for instance) have bad luck and they go 2-0 in the district to close the season.  Hickman County is going to enter the district tournament as the #8 seed and travel to the regular season champion but they've shown all year long to be able to compete with anyone in the district.

The District 11 Tournament begins next week.  Here is how it lines up for everyone at the moment:

1.). Fairview will host Hickman County in the Opening Round

2.). Creek Wood will host either Camden or Waverly in the Opening Round.  Camden (Thursday) and Waverly (Friday) end the season with matchups against Hickman County.  If Camden defeats Hickman County they'll finish as the 6-Seed and Waverly would then automatically be the 7-Seed.  If Camden loses to Hickman County and Waverly then defeats Hickman County then Waverly would be the 6-Seed and Camden would be the 7-Seed.

3.). The winner of Thursday's Lewis County at Stewart County contest will be the 3-Seed and host the 6-Seed in the Opening Round.

4.). East Hickman will host the loser of Thursday's Lewis County at Stewart County matchup in the Opening Round.

5.). The loser of Thursday's  Lewis County at Stewart County contest will be the 5-Seed and travel to East Hickman in the Opening Round.

6.).  If Camden defeats Hickman County they'll finish as the 6-Seed and Waverly would then automatically be the 7-Seed.  If Camden loses to Hickman County and Waverly then defeats Hickman County then Waverly would be the 6-Seed and Camden would be the 7-Seed.

7.).  Camden defeats Hickman County they'll finish as the 6-Seed and Waverly would then automatically be the 7-Seed.  If Camden loses to Hickman County and Waverly then defeats Hickman County then Waverly would be the 6-Seed and Camden would be the 7-Seed.
