Fairview will play in the Region Championship game at Nolensville.  They defeated Murfreesboro Central last night.  Darius James hit the game winning three at the horn.

It's always going to be hard for District 9-AA to match up athletically in Regions and it's always going to be hard for Districts 11 and 12 to match up athletically in Sectionals.  It was even a major challenge for CPA when they were in Division I.

Whites Creek won by 4.  Stratford won in overtime.  Two outstanding Sectional contests.  

I'm curious as to why a technical foul wasn't called at the end of regulation in the Fairview/Stratford game tonight.  The crowd was storming the floor as if Stratford had won the game right as the horn sounded.  It very easily could have been a technical foul call situation.

Yea I was surprised about that myself. And it look like the rest didn't wanna call any fouls to me. Although most of it was good defense. Over all Fairview never gave up.

Very impressed with Fairview, I thought they would get blowed out. The one kid #3 could flat out shoot the ball. One of the better shooting nights I've seen this year. Congrats on a successful season.

Tough loss for the Jackets last night. They had their chances to win in a hostile environment. It took them one quarter to adjust to Stratford’s style and the crowd trailing 20-5 after 1 but they continued to answer the bell throughout the game. This team will be back next year and more than likely will be better. Not bad for a program who two years ago only won 1 game and won 25 this year.
