Its time for Cocke County to cross the county line and invade Jefferson County to see if the Roosters can upset Jefferson County on its home field. The Patriots will try and send the Roosters back home with a loss and try to get something going for the last five regular season games and try to make it into the playoffs. Last week's loss at D-B was heartbreakening with having 6 turnovers and just being another awful night for the guys in red,white and blue. Lets go PATRIOTS and get a win this week and get some momentum started for the rest of the season. GO BLUE !!!

We will just have to wait and see if D-B feels the same way you do. Plus we will also have Seymour on our regular season schedule and of course the old IMAC teams. Then there is Sevier County. Thats seven teams. I am all for reviving the old rivalry with Halls, South Doyle and Central. This is same way it was done back in the 80's, minus Rhea County. As I said I'd rather see D-B or Science Hill in the playoffs. JMO nothing else.

Why play D-B during the regular season, 2009, when we will have to play them or science hill in the first round of the playoffs anyway. There are plenty of other 6-A schools a lot closer than the Tri-cities anyway, such as knox or blount county. there are also plenty of 5A schools to be that will provide all the competition JCHS will need.

One player I know of got hurt, #51 AJ Narcise has, what looked like a knee injury. Don't know how serious the injury is.

28-7 Morristown East wins. What can you say ? Penalties and mistakes killed it for the guys, plus we could not run to the outside. Seems like the guys could not contain # 10 even when they seem to know he was going to get the ball. The guys were very flat and didn't seem to have any heart. There didn't seem to be any leadership. SOMEONE HAS TO STEP FORWARD !! As soon as they would get something going, there comes the towels out. The guys better get it together before next week. LETS GO BIG BLUE !!!

No whine, just stating a stat fact. You cannot win a football game when there are seven turnovers to over come and two touchdowns called backbecause of penalties. Even though the losing team has 50-60 more yards offensively.

Mason played the second half, but did not return kicks. So he must be just nicked up.

If its a second degree sprain he will be out 4 weeks. Could be back by the Karns or Science Hill game. If the ankle, as I heard, or leg has a break, McFall is out for the season. Sad situation either way for a senior.

The same holds true this friday night as last friday night. JCHS holds onto the ball and I am not worried. If there is a rerun of last friday night against M'West it will be a long night again. I don't see a rerun so here I go: JCHS by 2 touchdowns.

One thing is for sure, we cannot take West lightly. We did that last year with Campbell county and we paid for it. They, the players, have to be focused as they were last week against Greeneville and take nothing for granted. Play every play as if it is the last and everything else will take care of itself. Lets put West in the same position JCHS was in from 1998-2002. Keep the short, so far, winning streak going. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!

Win by one point or win by 40 doesn't matter to me. JUST WIN !!!!

Coach Anderson just wanted SOMEONE to scrimmage and the Buffaloes were the only ones available. BTW, the freshmen will be in a scrimmage with the Farragut freshmen on the practice field thursday night at 6pm as well.
