  1. I understand that the game film is being reviewed by the TSSAA, for bothe the spike and the roughing. I have not seen the film but I understand the kicker tripped over the player after he reacted to missing the kick. Does anyone know what the TSSAA review could do?
  2. Has anyone heard and does anyone know what power the TSSAA might have. I understand the West/Boone game is being reviewed by the TSSAA due to two major officiating issues at the end of regulation that gave West the opportunity to tie game. Can anyone confirm and what could result be.
  3. True Story and that has put some fuel on the fire this week. If Boone doesn't over-work in practice this week could get real ugly. But who knows, like someone else said, no-ones is safe any Friday Night. But Home Field advantage and some bad taste from the last few weeks should have the Blazers building a Fire.
  4. after the volunteeer game they were 1-2 but including the west and volunteer game they were 1-4 in their last 5 adter a 6-0 start
  5. Congratulations to All you Green Devil fans! Hope we do as well!
  6. It was a good enough hit that it got a verbal response from the Receiver that got him flagged with a 15-yard penalty.
  7. Everyone should really listen to this guy he really knows what he's talking about. Remember last week he promised us that Masters (#7) wouldn't break 100 yards against the Awesome G'ville defense.
  8. WOW! I thought Boone wasn't that good just that G'ville played bad based on your other quotes. Thanks
  9. I think for most of us in the Blazer Nation is the Obvious Lack of Respect that our boys receive. Year after year we hear people referring to players of the year before being gone so Boone doesn't have it anymore. And I'm sure the rest of the Blazer fans are tired of it as much as I am. Early part of the week it was clear that Most of the Greeneville fans had very little respect for Boone. While I am impressed that some have returned to yield some kudos, many have chosen to be silent. The funny thing is we will be the underdog again at least 5-6 more times this season, and of course Today's silent majority will return next season to insist that Boone doesn't have a chance in the week preceeding the game.
  10. Yeah A Big Difference I believe that it totals to a 21 yard difference for Masters.
  11. Cherokee is BIG and Physical between the Ends. No One in the past two seasons have blown Boone off the ball like they did in the first half. Granted Boone gave it back to them when Boone had the ball but they can move the ball in Large chunks straight up the gut. Their QB is fast and elusive, and suprisingly threw the ball well. He made good decisions. (with a possible exception of the last pass of the game, although Adam Venters made a Great Play so he does deserve alot of the credit for the play). Compound this with a bag full of trick plays and non-conventional formations, and they are a real force. They run an unbalanced line most of the night, and had they ran a trap or counter out of that formation they may have still been running. The backs are not exceptionally fast but I wouldn't classify them as slow. But they make up for that lack of speed with physical-ness. Usually takes more than one hit to bring them down. Their kicking game is WEAK. Deepest kick-off was to 35 yardline. They really should use their JV kicker he was very good monday night. If SH gets some good bounces it could be real exciting. I would say getting on them early is the key. But I think they are a MUCH Improved team from Last year.
  12. I think Coach Jenkins will Have the Boys ready to Play North, tough loss last year. We all remember it and I don't think any extra motivation will be needed. Will deal with Cocke County Next Week, and Morristown West when the Time Comes. Like Brad said One Game at a Time.
  13. Based on That Logic, Why isn't North Carolina or Duke a Perennial PowerHouse in Football or UT in The Final Four in Men's Basketball. I think Science Hill take's this one on the chin because I believe Cherokee will line up and run the ball between the tackles and consume lots of clock and Science Hill energy. The Cheifs are very big and will match up well size wise with the toppers. It maybe close but I expect a very Physical game and don't expect the finesse game of Toppers will be able to handle it. Just my opinion.
