were you at that game??? the i have never seen a ball fly like it did that day! and if you watched any baseball in the last year you'd know that the Stealth comp is amazing... that bat is hot! lol...

lets be honest here... JCS put on 50 runs on Lookout Valley in two games... The first time they saw LV the scored one run! For the next game they were a buzz saw using a bat that didnt belong to them... in the championship game without the Stealth the scored 1 run once again... and if im not mistaken they got beat again by a east tn team... so, looking at it when things mattered they choked! so GO east TN!

Lookout Valley is now 27-1 and have out scored opponents 335-53...

Rorex is batting over .680 now in close to 90 at bats... He's also got 7hr's and 32 rbi's, NOT bad for a leadoff batter! Not to mention he's 7-0 on the mound with a 1.6 ERA... oh and that 19-19 streak he went on at the plate ranks first all time in Tennesee and 3rd all time nation wide...

Do yall remember when the Grace and CSAS fans were on here talking about how this could be their year??? haha! grace is 2-10!!!! that is pitiful... All they wanted to talk about is how they hung with the valley for 5 innings... Maybe they should concentrate a little more on hanging with everyone else they play, and then try to take down the champ... good luck!

Lookout Valley looks to continue recent dominance of CSAS tomorrow when Rorex takes the mound. The Pats struggled against O'Dell yesterday and I see more of the same... This thread would make more sense if CSAS was even playing close to .500 ball! Im not sure who is worse, Grace or CSAS... lol hollar back at the valley once you start winning ball games!

Lookout Valleys Lance Rorex broke the state record for most hits in consecutive at bats after going 5-5 tonight against CSAS. The 5 hits make him 16 for his last 16... the previous record was 12 for 12...

why was this thread even started??? LV is by far the class of the region and district... these games are only being played to decide 2nd place...

the valley passed their first test last night in florida when they played Jay High School. Lead by seniors they pulled out a 3-2 victory. Their Pitching looked strong all weekend. I cant wait to see them take on Rockwood later this week!

Grace need to hang up this "we hung with the valley" stuff... sure you were tied through 5, but thats it! thats why the game is 7 innings long...

the valley continued to put up runs in bunches tonight in florida when they beat the Baker High Gators 15-4... they should face their first true test of the season tuesday night against Jay high school in florida. when they get back they will start the Yellow Jacket Classic, in what could be a single A state preview...

while the field has a short porch, Lookout Valley is by far the best overall venue in the state...

why would the jackets be making excuses as to why they couldnt hit??? so far this year theyve posted 32 runs in 3 games... haha, definitely not what i would call a lack of offense... theyve dimed 2 out of 3 opponents to start the season, i would be more than satisfied with that output!

let s be honest... some of those pitches thrown by the kid that came in in relief for Grace definitely did not break 50 mph! it was middle school quality at best! lol

not so much... the valley looked pretty bad for the most part tonight and still won 10-3. the jackets left a lot of runners stranded i believe in most part due to them trying to adjust to the extremely slow pitching they faced. at some points tonight i believe the grace pitcher was defying gravity as the ball crossed the plate, lol! once the valley saw the kid a couple times the bats heated up and exploded for a quick 7 late in the game... all in all grace looked pretty good and will compete with other single A teams, but the valley is obviously the class of the region.

tonight we find out what Grace has... from what i see from their first game they better find a pitcher quick or they might just suffer their 2nd run rule in a row to start the season! the jackets looked strong 1-9 against Chatt Christian last night... Look for more of the same tonight at Grace.

it really doesnt matter who comes out of the other side of the region... there's no team im region 3 that is gonna compete with the jackets...

so far the jackets have two signees... Brandon O'Dell signed with Chatt State as a Pitcher and Lance Rorex signed with Cleveland State as a Middle Infielder. As far as the other seniors im not sure but i now there are a few a them that can play on the next level...

i dont understand what grace fans are thinking? didnt they promise to shut down Scruggs the same way last year? i think he had near 300 yards and 5 or 6 td's against them on a rain soaked field... If they couldnt contain him on a sloppy field, good luck chasing him on a dry turf... I say that the boys from grace ought to be able to describe the back of Scruggs' jersey pretty well by the end of the night! LV by 2 TD's
