  1. yes hvilles is top notch just like their entire soccer program /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  2. thats a sad realism. its too bad SC won in week one. it was a great game, despite the shocking outcome. but no point living in the past.
  3. Alright, in all seriousness, Hendersonville is clearly the odds on favorite to win this game. But our defense has proven to be inconsistent at times this season. If Gallatin if able to exploit that, then the game could go either way depending on how well the HHS offense does. The game will be close unless the Gallatin players quit towards the end of the game. If that happens I could see HHS pouring on the points at the end since they have proven that they are a excellent 4th quarter team. My real prediction is 38-35 Hendersonville.
  4. Reminds me of good ole Rocky Smith from Hendersonville, Wilson Central, and Pope. What a nutcase!
  5. I'm thinking Smyrna with the upset here. Gray and Wilks really step up, after already being great all season to spectacular for this game. Close game, 38-35 OT SMYRNA!
  6. I think Hendersonville coach Bruce Hatfield should win every year.
  7. exactly, they were absolute trash a year or two before that and now they have had 2 great season back to back
  8. For a fairly new school, Station Camp is starting to make a pretty good reputation
  9. Bruce Hatfield will have his troops ready for this big rivalry game. HHS will go into the infamous "Wave Yard" and give the Green Wave a good ole curbstomping.
  10. Smyrna is a great ball team and will make another run to state finals as long as the Gray to Wilks connection continues.
  11. This commando team is playing with a lot of pride after some tough loses and wants the District title. It will be a great game with the road warriors comming out on top by 3.
  12. Yes HHS needs to worry about Glenliff and other region opponents before they start thinking about Gallatin. Although it should be an interesting showdown when week 9 comes around.
  13. good call man Hendersonville dominated the whole game. They had 49 points at the half. Absolutely no effort from Hillwood. The final score was 56-21 I believe.
  14. Second region game for both teams I believe... Who takes this one?
  15. Yes I realized that too. and yes, Roper's a junior so he'll be back
  16. That was a extremely good game. Dickson County completely dominated the offensive side of the ball for the 1st half. Steadman Bell had 2 early touchdowns, on the same exact play. With it being 23-10 at halftime, I didn't think Hendersonville had a chance the way they were playing. The 3rd quarter was pretty even, no scoring from either team I believe. Then in the 4th HHS played very well. The drove down and Chason Wall had a nice TD catch. DCHS got the ball back and HHS stopped them and got the ball after a poor punt. They got down to the DC's 4 yard line. On 3rd down, Watson threw a pass to Wall who had the TD but dropped it. 4th down Watson had to scramble and got helicoptered around at the ONE YARD LINE. Heartbreaking loss for HHS.
  17. HHS's #7 was getting beat all over the field, but he made up for it with that strip. The late interception by #8 was crucial too.
  18. Neither team has a W yet with McGavock losing to Goodpasture and HHS losing to SCHS and Beech. I will be rooting for HHS, but they haven't looked good at all this year. Who do you got?
  19. He getting the Watson boys confused. Lawson was a QB there a few years ago(now a coach with HHS), and his younger brother Troy is the starting QB. I have to go with the Commandos on this one. Coach Hat knows how to get his boys pumped up and ready to play, it's unfortunate that last week no one showed up to play but the kicker. You have to give some love to the Commando's student section. They're are some of the loudest students in the state. Pretty intimidating for the opposing team.
  20. I don't think Hendersonville has that strong of a ball club this season, but the senior Chris Hewgley might be one of the best pure shooters in the mid-state. He's won the Sumner County 3-point championship 3 years in a row. The Commandos don't have a good enough supporting cast to win big ball games as they did last year. Who knows, maybe with some big upsets in the region they could get recognized???
