  1. 5pm in Tomahawk Stadium. I will refrain from giving a prediction because I am usually wrong. Go Lady Warriors
  2. I have a couple for Riverdale Ashley Watson, forward, 9th Sarah Parker, midfield, 10th
  3. Almost got it right. Cleveland and Hendersonville dropped out, Houston moved up a spot. Riverdale and Soddy moved in as well as Dobyns-Bennett. Easttenref, please elaborate on what changes you would make to the top 11.
  4. Slow down H2O, I never said OR was a standout or a championship contender. Just pointed out that after wins over ND and Houston and a tie with BGA, that they could play and shouldn't be dismissed. I only brought it up because Eurosport has them highly ranked and I wasn't sure why. As far as loyalty goes, I have 2 daughters at Riverdale and that is who I support, so the only back patting I'm seeing is coming from you and your loyalty to Collierville. MJUHB put out his rankings and he agrees with you as far as #1 and #2 go. Have a nice day.
  5. I see Cleveland, Houston and Hendersonville dropping out and being replaced by Soddy, Riverdale and ???. But I usually don't get these right /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  6. After the Rivals tournament, Oak Ridge looks for real. AAA looks wide open, D2 is all about Baylor.
  7. Riverdale 5 Tullahoma 1 Becca Smith 2, Ashley Watson 2, Sarah Parker 1 Not sure who scored for Tullahoma, but it was a nice shot. Tullahoma pushed their defense up most of the game, Riverdale called offsides numerous times. Tullahoma keeper had to cover a lot of ground. Once Riverdale figured it out, they had quite a few breakaways that resulted in shots with a few going in. The Tullahoma keeper played great, but she was hung out one on one too many times.
  8. white county thursday at 5:30 tullahoma on saturday, not sure the time
  9. Just noticed the updated Eurosports rankings and does anybody know who, how, what, why these are determined. Is it coaches, computers or darts that are used in this poll. Riverdale was 8th, won 3 games, now is not ranked. Cleveland was 10th, with losses to Shelbyville and Soddy-Daisy, both teams that Riverdale has beaten, and they move up to 9th????? Not a swipe at Cleveland, just trying to understand the logic. I do agree with Siegel being in the top 5, couldn't understand how they were not ranked previously. MJUHB, give these guys some pointers.
  10. 2006 7AAA district tournament. Cookville scores 3 goals against Riverdale in the first twenty minutes. We get two back including one right before halftime whistle. Score two more in the 2nd half to win 4-3. All 4 goals scored by freshmen also. This comeback led to a couple more wins and a trip to the state tournament. Hendersonville beat us at state, but a great experience for a young team.
  11. Riverdale 6 Blackman 1 Score was 3-0 at halftime, Blackman scored on PK with 11 minutes left
  12. CAK 15-0 Loudon Franklin 10-0 Hillsboro USJ 11-0 Lexington FRA 9-0 Ezell Brentwood 10-0 Clarksville I could go on and on. It happens. Lopsided scores happen way more often in football than in soccer. Not trying to show the other team up or pad stats, just happens.
  13. Keeper, thats why I said it MAY come down to the last game. Blackman could be that sleeping Giant that no team should be looking past. I expect the Lady Blaze to be right in the thick of it all year long.
  14. Just couldn't make a post without throwing a jab at Riverdale, could you. Calling any team a softie is bulletin board material. Don't forget you have the same so-called softies from our district on your schedule also. While Siegel does play a very tough out of district schedule, Riverdales playing a much tougher schedule this year than years past with Baylor, Franklin, Hendersonvlle, Soddy, etc. I also remember our "soft" schedule didn't hurt us the 3 times we beat Siegel last year and yeah, I know, with those rose color glasses your wearing, you feel Siegel should have won those games too. Lot of soccer left to be played and it MAY come down to the final game again.
  15. I think Shelbyville being in the top 10 has more to do with the tough schedule they have played than their win/loss record. Beat Cleveland, only lost 1-0 to Brentwood and ties with Hendersonville and Smyrna.
  16. Hopefully, this will put this topic to bed. Cooler heads prevailed and with the support of Principal Nolan, the Lady Warriors will play the remainder of their home games at the multisport Tomahawk stadium, except for the game next Thursday with White Co. This was announced at the booster meeting tonite after the game with Lebanon. Christiana Middle school will be moving up the start times of the conflicting games so the soccer games can start at 7pm. Thanks to all the posters for your opinions and support.
  17. Baylor will be at Riverdale, Friday 9/19 at 5pm
  18. Spoken like a true Football is the only sport that matters person. The boys DO play all their home games at the stadium. I attended all of them. They don't play on the smaller soccer field. I don't agree with the Title IX approach as this will cause more harm than good. If the middle school wants a football program they should cough up the money and build their own field or schedule around the high school sports. I know for a fact Coach Arman had the field scheduled with Coach Adylotte before the middle school did and so does the Riverdale Athletic director.
  19. Hey Pedo, catch a clue. The "soccer field" is both shorter and narrower than regulation. There are no restroom facilities, no lighting and the seating is inadequate. For the Siegel game, there is no way the field can accomodate the crowd that will be there. Please know what you are talking about.
  20. Then I guess none of the track and field events should be allowed to use it either. The boys soccer team plays its full home schedule on the football field. Why don't the girls have the same opportunities. Its all about the benjamins.
  21. Good job, Blackman. The Blaze supporters have been strangely quiet so far this year. I for one would like to hear some details of their trip to Kentucky. BlackmanSoccerDad, where are you? Big game with Riverdale next Tuesday night.
  22. Riverdales game with Coffee County on Tuesday has been changed from 7pm at the football stadium to 5pm on the front soccer field. Unlike the other Murfreesboro schools the Lady Warriors only get a few home games on the football field under the lights. They have been bumped from a scheduled game due to a Christiana Middle School football game that has claimed the field even though they did not have it scheduled. Pretty sad that a middle school can bump a home high school team off the field. Lack of respect for girls soccer is all I can think of. Any other teams out there have to deal with this??
  23. Siegel has beaten #4 Hendersonville and #6 Franklin and aren't ranked. I'm not a member of the Siegel fan base, but this doesn't make sense. Hopefully this will work itself out over the next few weeks.
  24. That would be Saria' parents, they tape every game for us, nice people. My daughter is #15, small blonde with pony tail, plays the wing. Hopefully, see ya in the playoffs.
