  1. it always seems easiest to cut a girls program, no one tends to notice... shame on TSSAAA
  2. I think the "prophecy" that no one is standing in Greenbrier's way is about a 90% given with or without Catholic in the mix. I am, of course, a HUGE Catholic volleyball & school fan, but am not blinded by it. Greenbrier is and has been the BIG and ONLY favorite since winning it all last year. So, the "prophecy" is one everyone else already knew about. As for the "hope all you want" comment... you obviously don't know me (or maybe as well as you think you do). Anyone who really knows me and the pride I had/have in the Catholic program wouldn't disrespect me or my logically concluded comments about the state tournament now that Cathoic is out of the mix. I respect Coach Jones and his efforts more than even he realizes. Considering the 1.8 mulitiplier, he has done a Superman job developing the talent to compete and win. He has excited the entire school staff/student body in what was before a player's parents only event. Lastly, thanks...last post! Good Luck Everyone
  3. Good luck to the Lady Cats on another run to the finals this year 5-Sport! Sure have missed all the action since Jess graduated, but have kept up somewhat on here. I'll be hoping for the champion to come out our district but if not it is what it is...
  4. Pageman, glad to see Page returning. we played them last year in state, and nicole was fun to watch! guess we will see her again thursday at 7:30 at blackman... see you there!
  5. Region 2 A-AA at Gibbs Semi's AC over Seymour 3-0 (i think) KC over Cosby 3-0 Finals AC over KC 3-2 Another great finals between AC & KC, great crowd and thanks to the Gibbs staff for all their work. All-Region Selections were: AC: Ashley Pittman, Jordan Bollinger KC: Becca Forbes, Jessica Lane Seymour: ______ Peterson (sry i forgot her first name) Cosby: ? Tounament MVP: Kelsey Leffew (still the best setter I have seen this year) Sorry if i forgot someone. Sectionals for Thursday: KC will travel to South Greene AC will host West Greene

  10. Oct. 8 KC over Maryville 3-0 Senior Night as we said goodbye to six seniors... it's been a great run for them and for us! They never lost a game in District 4 play and qualified for the state tournament in 2005 & 2006 (hopefully 2007 also) finishing as runner up in 2006!
  11. We (Knox Catholic) had a good time also even though we didnt play that well. With a MB out and our setter playing injured it just never really came together. Our freshman setter did a great job Friday even though she was thrown into the fire. It was a great experience for her. The facilities are as always top-notch (the Siegel auxiliary gym was a bit tight though). In my wheelchair I found both schools were well set up for the wheelchair-bound. It was nice to meet Play4Keeps and put a face with the name. Pageman was (as always) running back and forth to the four courts trying to get game scores. We spoke briefly, then woosh, he was off again to the main gym. I dont know anyone as dedicated to getting information for this site. Thanks PageMan. NO one else does (or can do) what you do. Amazing! I do think we were the only AA team in the gold bracket. Correct me if I am wrong. It was a good setup for the upcoming run to the 'Boro, if we make it thru Districts. With Stone, CAK and AC to contend with we must be at the top of our game to advance. Oh, 5-SportDad, my daughter did play. She needed the work after being out almost two weeks with mono. She did ok, but was exhausted after it was over.
