Yes, it is sad to see some fans act the way they act. On behalf of most LHS fans, sorry LOD. I don't know why people have to act the way they do. Honestly I did not think Lebanon was going to win and after Oakland went down and scored with a little less than 3:00 minutes left, I started walking to the car. I'm glad it's a long way to the car because if it hadn't of been I would have missed a terrific ending.

Lebanon will be in the region that has Gallatin. Mt. Juliet will also be moving into that region. As far as who will win this one.....as much as I would like to be a homer and say LHS, alas I can not. Oakland will win but I just hope Lebanon will keep it close.

I'm sure you are right. I wouldn't know alot about that because I'm not a student and my kids are only 4 and 2 years old (meaning they are not in school) so I don't keep up with alot except from what I hear on the radio. I'm just a fan that loves to go to the games and support the Devils. Was just listening to the coaches breakfast show on the Lebanon radio station and heard coach Brown say that it is 6 offensive starters out and 3 two way starters are out. They have also had to put defensive linemen on the offensive line. He said it is now starting to show up (injuries) playing really good defenses like Riverdale and WC.

Well, there strength was supposed to be the offensive line with 4 starting seniors. That blew up before the season began. They lost 2 seniors to season ending injuries and 1 was playing on a torn ACL through the first two games before finally having season ending surgery. Plus more injuries. Heck, they have had to covert ( I believe) a fullback to play on the line. Last night I counted 4 on crutches and 2 more dressed in jeans and jersey so that is 6 injured and I think they all are seniors. I pretty sure that 4 of them are at least. After saying all that they have been in every game except for the Riverdale one. I know that if if's and but's were candy and nuts we'd all have a merrier Christmas, BUT if all those injuries had not occurred where would they be sitting? This was just a tough year for them Devils.

From what I gather Lebanon had four starting seniors on the offensive line of the ball before the season began and they are playing with 1 of them due to injuries. I know last week they had to convert a fullback to play on the line. 2 of the linemen I believe have been gone all year and one played on a torn acl for the first couple of games and finally had to call it quits. It is just one of those year. But for all of the injuries the Blue Devils have been in every game except this one.

Tell me about it. I was listening to the radio and the sideline reporter said the ball was about 4" from the goal line. Give me a break, when your at home you should be able to get some calls your way.

Yeah, your QB had all kinds of time last night. Your HUGE offensive line is.......well HUGE. I was really disappointed last with Lebanon last night but after sleeping on it I am proud of the way they hung in there with Riverdale. Before the game I really didn't expect it to be that close. The score really should have been 21-14 but coach Brown called a timeout with 3 seconds left in the game with the Warriors on the 1 yd line.

Hastings didn't get in until end of first half. I heard on the radio that he hurt his toe in last weeks game vs. WC. Sallis from what I had heard, popped his shoulder out of socket in the Mt. Juliet game. They put it back in place but while he was throwing on the sidelines it popped out again. Two plays really hurt Lebanon last night. It should have been 7 - 7 going into the second half. Riverdale snapped it over the QB's head and it was a 3rd and 19 with 30 seconds left in the second QT. All Lebanon had to do was stopped them and the first half would have been over. Misdirection handoff and dude was off to the races and scored. Broke my heart, that play did. But Lebanon fought hard and never gave up. Now if they just take care of business the rest of the year they still can get into the playoffs.

All I can say is I hope it is a good game. If Hastings is the starting tailback then I think Lebanon can hang with them. I do believe that Riverdale will most likely wear Lebanon down in the second half. I'm a huge Devil fan but am also realistic. I read in the local newspaper before the season began that Lebanon has 11 on offense and 11 on defense but after that they don't have alot of depth. And they lack leadership and so far that is showing. Good luck to both teams and GO BLUE.

2priceless, Hastings sat out the first half due to disciplinary reasons from what the radio said. Lebanon pretty much had to abandon the running game except for QB Maynard in the second half. So hastings only ran 2 times for 10 yards. I really believe that if he would have started it could have been alot better game. Not saying that WC still would not have won but I think Lebanon could have scored more.

Congrats WC on the win, you guys deserved it. I was kind of disappointed in the way Coach Brown ran the offense last night. I know we were missing the starting QB and tailback but running with our fullback every other play did not make since. I thought in the first half he would have utilized Maynard (QB) a little differently. He didn't start letting him get to the outside until the last minute of the first half. Riverdale up next, maybe coach Brown wasn't showing all his cards so we could upset the Warriors since alot of them were in attendance last night. GO BIG BLUE!!
