  1. Wow, I didn't know that because Siegel has been to state three times since it opened five years ago that it's funny. Maybe it's your way of dealing with the fact that Siegel will be a powerhouse high school basketball team one of these days. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. First off, congratulations boys for making it this far. Not many people at the beginning of the season would have thought we would have made it this far. Ya'll overachieved. We are very proud of ya'll. Now last night's game was tough. It seemed like they hit every shot they took and we couldn't hit ours. Nothing would go right for us. However, we did not come out with the same intensity last night as we did with Antioch. I don't know if we were a little to hyped up from the game still or what. But it was not the same Siegel team last night. As for Ridgeway, I watched their game which Clarkesville and wasn't impressed with them Thursday night. It was very clear last night that Thursday's night game was a poorly played game for Ridgeway because they came out dominating Friday. Also, I have to give credit to Ridgeway's coach because he had Cutter's number. He prepared his boys well to stop Cutter from setting any offense up. They read him like a book most of the time. Good win Ridgeway and good look tonight. However, I am very proud of these boys from Siegel High School. You played your hearts out and there was nothing more you could do. You had a great run and surprised many people with how far you went. You represented 7AAA very well. Don't hang your heads and know your community is still behind you in your future endeavours. Congratulations Siegel! SIEGEL NATION!!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. I like how you called me a newby. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> You have no idea how old I am or how long I have been around basketball. So thanks. lol. But how about you learn how to spell Siegel before your next post. It just keeps making you look ignorant. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Thanks for the good luck. Atleast the other posters from White County have enough respect and maturity to wish us luck onto state. Just like some of the Siegel posters wished them luck. Yes ya'll lost, but I for one was hoping ya'll would make it to state also so the state of tennessee could see how strong District 7 is. Posters like you make me not want to but I am not that immature. So, good season White County. Ya'll are a great team. You will still be a great team next year. Go stars!!!
  4. Most ridiculous and absurd post I have ever read. You joined three days ago and it is your first post? Apparently someone's still a little upset over the region game. But hey, get over it. You lost fair and square. Siegel was the better team that night whether you want to admit. So, from here on out how about you think things through before you go posting. It's called think before you speak. I know some people have a hard time with it. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> And like you said, their three's are their bread and butter. When you count on threes that's what you live and die by. Ya'll died thursday night.
  5. Sorry Harris for leaving you hanging on those updates. I left to go watch my beloved Volunteers lose to Vandy. /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
  6. 30 20 Siegel with 3 left in half
  7. 20 14 Siegel minute left in first
  8. 12-5 siegel with 5 left in first
  9. You do not have to play basketball to know basketball. Ignorant
  10. Ahh...lol. Yes! another preppy rich kids comment. How original that is. ha You do realize that there are more wealthy kids at oakland than siegel? We just happen to be a newer school. I would like to think that someone as educated as yourself (according to your continuous praise of yourself) could think of something more original. Maybe that just doesn't fall into your "I know basketball" knowledge. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  11. Good attitude. Let's keep the unpredictableness going. ( that even a word? lol) I'm rooting for you. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. I don't think we will have a problem with warren county, as long as the boys don't look past them. Which i doubt with it being homecoming. So, I could see Harris sitting him again. He does have a soft cast on. Saving him for lebanon and riverdale to round out the season.
  13. You think? But, you beat riverdale twice, beat cookeville, then you only lost to oakland by 7. What's up with getting blown out by siegel twice? Maybe it's the same with us having issues each time we played cookeville this year. Idk
  14. You have a point. No, he warmed up and seemed fine, but never took his warm-up off. Might be saving him for friday since it's our homecoming but you never know.
  15. With it being in Sparta that could give WC a slight edge with the atmosphere and energy. But it would be pretty sweet to see oakland go in there and give it to them. Bring the regular season district championship back to the 'boro! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  16. Blackman 46-45 Siegel. Wow, what a game. Very intense, exciting game. Hate to see my girls come up short. Had the ball with 12 seconds and had three shots but couldn't connect. Looked like there was a foul on each one but at the end of the game I guess that's a good call. This siegel team seems to be the wildcard. They pull out a win in riverdale then lose 2 straight. Then almost beat this blackman team that blew them out 3 weeks ago. Once they get the chemistry going with wright back in the lineup, this team will be even a bigger threat. Keep it going ladies! Go stars!
  17. Idk whether it's because it wasn't as much of a challenge but it seemed like my siegel boys were clicking alot better tonight. Tyler played better. He didn't try to do to much like at oakland and actually had quite a few assists. However, it might just be that tonight he didn't feel the need that he needed to constantly make a play. Nick played much better. Still had a few ill advised shots and passes but maybe he is starting to realize he needs to pick it up. I was pleased with the boys effort tonight. There seemed to be more intensity. Good job guys! Let's keep it going through the end of the season. Go stars!
  18. Im not saying i don't realize. Just other siegel supporters in general. It was very evident in the oakland game that tyler could not carry them. He tried, but he was way to selfish and didn't make many shots. I think next year this team will become alot better. That is, if these sophomores don't decided to cop attitudes
  19. Totally agree. Hammonds is the best player on this siegel team. Not Cutter but he is still a playmaker. I feel like Kerry could really have a legit shot with winning the district mvp if more people would realize that this team doesn't completely revolve around Tyler anymore.
  20. Don't know how much truth there is to this, but the word from dotson was that Kerry was going to be playing tonight just with his wrist wrapped pretty tightly.
  21. What happened in the Siegel game? Any details? And i don't want any Siegel poster coming on here saying it's the refs fault. Can't be the reason for all our losses this year. Give me actual reasons why we didn't pull out the game.
  22. He's not making excuses. Just pointing out that hammonds got hurt. If he was making excuses he would have said the stars lost because hammonds got hurt and couldn't play. Or along the lines of that. Try to not jump to conclusions. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
