  1. I was going to get on here and put in my two cents about all of the Rebels problems, then I read this post and thought, It's pretty easy to point fingers and make excuses when times are tough. Just give the kids and the coaches a chance. Yea, things looks pretty bad right now, but dang we've only played two games. Let's see how this thing plays out.
  2. UPDATE.......... Beedle commited today to Tennessee Tech. Full Ride. He had full offers from Austin Peay and UT Chattanooga as well.
  3. Nailed it. The Rebs receiving corps gets spoiled running wild in the MLC all season, but struggles to get open in the playoffs. This appears to be holding true again this year. The thunder (2) and lightning (15) looked really good against the Canes, I was really surprised we didn't stay with it. We only had 65 yards passing, but probably dropped more balls than we did all year combined. Ellis was a pleasant surprise, who I hope to see more of this week.
  4. This cake walks going to hurt come playoff time. The Sophs are going to have more reps than the starters. Good Grief.
  5. I agree with you on this 72. Stopping the Canes on 4 and 1, and the safety were the two biggest plays of the game. It was like the air was knocked of yall. I do believe this was one of most physical games the Rebs had played all year. Your Canes are to be commended for bringing it to the Rebs. The way I see it, if everything stays together for them, theres a category 5 Hurricane brewing in Hamblen County for '09.
  6. That's funny right there, I don't care who you are.
  7. You stole my thunder....With all this talk about being a running team, has anyone been to a game in the last 3 years? The Rebs kind a like to throw it around....have you notice?
  8. RR, nice breakdown. Someone mentioned today that Shiver and Douglas were banged up from last friday. What's their status?
  9. That's an easy one....attitude.
  10. If I'm not mistaken, I believe Johnson County would be the smallest 3A team in the State if they were actually in 3A.
  11. Woooooooooooooo...Woooooooooooooooo....chugga, chugga, chugga
  12. LB from M-East #36 is very good. Barner-G'ville, Masters-Boone, Cradic-Vol, LB from Vol. is very good too.
  13. Agree. There is alot of talk about the Coleman kid challenging for the job. The instate kids do seem to be the cancers, however this wouldn't have been the case with Curt. He's a classy kid, well spoken and brought up right. I only wish we would have had the opportunity to watch him in orange, instead of red.
  14. UT was going to offer him as an "athlete" , which meant a move to WR or DB. This kids a QB, Wisconsin, Duke, Stanford, MTSU, VT all knew it. If he was from Texas, California or Oregon, UT probably would have offered him.
