  1. Not even a little bit. Reeves' hand is the one in the middle. DC's guys hand is the top and the bottom one.
  2. Here is the picture. http://tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/sectio...2108&Ref=AR
  3. Thank you HHS. You'd think after getting beat 3 times they would be tired of being proved wrong. I agree, it's time for DL to stick to the Baseball thread. GO LIONS!
  4. I don't know about Dc but it won't affect CPA at all. They have been practicing at Lipscomb's Allen Arena and Vandy's Memorial Gym in order to get ready. In fact, Z broke the goal at Lipscomb last night. Thankfully it was at the end of practice and he didn't shatter the backboard this time!
  5. They bring two other starters that have been left out of most of the convo's on here, Jake Peterson(6'3) and Kyle Reeves(6'4). Peterson can dunk and brings a great mid range shot and layup. Also a tremendous rebounder and aid to Z. Reeves has the three and a critical spin move that has yet to be defended, solid ball handler and critical to the passing plays CPA uses. There are several other great guys on the bench that have size, speed, and even a few more three shooters. From what I can tell, Dyer fans pretty much think they are the fastest team ever...believe me when I say that CPA has seen fast, athletic, and well conditioned teams all year. They won't be in shock when they see Dyer tonight, they'll be ready to get their 22nd win in a row! Side note about the two losses to the GA teams, two CPA starters (Anderson and Reeves) were out with injury's for those games. I don't think either one of them played over a quarter in those tourney games. Not an excuse by any means, just a little fun fact. I can't focus at all...I'm just ready to be there! Thank goodness we're only 45 minutes away from there, I would die if I had to drive as far as you Dyer fans do. Good luck and travel safe! CPA ALL THE WAY!!! GO LIONS!!!
  6. Not really. CPA has played 2 more games than DC.
  7. This is an interesting clip I think Dyer and CPA fans alike will enjoy. Interesting that it's a split decision. http://tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/articl...DEO02/80310001/
  8. Do your research. CPA has been there before, just Single A. They are bigger and better and fully prepared to get it done. Believe me! GO LIONS!
  9. That is exactly right. They don't recruit or do scholarships of any kind. No matter what some CPA haters may say, If you can't pay the 13k that it takes to be there, then you don't go there.
  10. About the height question: the other two starters, Reeves and Peterson, are measuring in at 6'4" and 6'3" and Miller and Anderson are at least 6 if not over and they can both jump so high it's scary.
  11. Yeah but they would also have to pay a lot more money to get Murphy Center for those extra days. Plus pay MTSU for security, parking loss (the buses run extra routes so that the parking doesn't affect the students as much), clean-up crews, etc. It wouldn't be worth it I bet. You know if it was, they'd probably be doing it!
  12. True. It already happened, in Memorial Gym at Vanderbilt today.
  13. The game is in the HS gym. CPA could have played several other places but the boys wanted to play somewhere they are used to playing.
  14. I was told that the Region committee met today and voted to move it up. I wasn't given a clear answer though, I guess they just want to get it over with.
  15. Final Score was GC 64 - DL 61. I stayed 'til the very end...I just couldn't tear myself away! GC is good but I'm not sure they can handle CPA. They are athletic though and #54 or whoever their tall kid is will probably be the biggest guy Z has seen in AA this year.
  16. This is just wrong. Why call out a player for making All-District? The kid has had a great season and played through a major injury. Yes, there may be someone with better stats or whatever you think it is that gets a player that title, but he is an amazing leader and a great ball player. Congratulations to him!

    Yeah...extremely obvious. GO LIONS!!!
  18. Most amazing game! The starting five showed how awesome they are together! What team-work! GO LIONS!
  19. FRA wins tonight against DL! This puts them with only one district loss...to CPA! Friday is a showdown now!
  20. Finally! CPA is on the list! It's about time! GO LIONS!!!
  21. Every time you respond, you start out as if it is going to be a positive and intelligent post, then it turns out to be just like your other posts. They have all been very well thought out, carefullly written, and I almost fall for it...then I realize it's all just the same as the posts before. You haven't posted one thing where you didn't start off apologizing or agreeing with someone just to turn around and criticize another part of the CPA program, staff, or team.
  22. This game is a big deal in my family. We have people from both schools in our family and a ton of relatives coming in for the game. I have seen both teams play and they are both gonna put up a big fight. For those planning on going to the game: Get there early!!! There isn't much seeting and definately not enough parking. Good luck to both teams! I will be pulling for both sides!!!
