Hampton has only won in that new gym three times now. For whatever reason, they just have not played well there. Last night was great to see!

Is the game with Trinity Friday played at the old Lynn View School in Kingsport?

Hard to believe, but it's only a couple of months till they tee it up and kick it off! I'm ready for some Bulldog football!

The 'official" capacity is 1600, but many more than that get in there than that. There have been upwards of 2500 squeezed in the place before.

The Bulldogs got a BIG win in Roan Mountain tonight, 69-64 to wrap up the conference title. This group is showing a lot of toughness, which is good to see!

Dogtruth I noticed the energy level was much higher too. It was odd they played harder against S.Greene than Cloudland, of course they hadn't played in about two weeks before that game, so maybe that had something to do with it. Both Cloudland and Hampton looked out of whack that night. I was much happier with the effort last night myself.

It does kind of boggle the mind that a 10-0 team could lose a tie breaker and not get in any playoffs!

I give Cloudland all the credit in the world. They played a heck of a game.

G-P knew what was coming, but STILL couldn't stop the run. They had everybody in close to plug the running lanes and Hampton STILL ran right over them. Wow.

Oh I have no doubt Memphis is the basketball spot to be in Tennessee, it always has been. The open enrollment in Memphis makes it all but impossible for anybody else in class A to have any hope of competing. Those teams are hard enough to deal with on their own without getting any help. That arena looked mighty empty on television today.
