I’m just curious as I haven’t found it anywhere what Robinson from Middletons GPA is. This is part of the criteria for the award and haven’t been able to see that.

Not here to argue at all. Just simply putting out facts about student athletes who are definitely worthy of being in the conversation for their work on and off the court. Highlight films are nice, but knowing the full product of a student athlete with their performances on the court, their character as well as how the perform in the classroom is what the coveted award is all about!

Jason is an extremely talented student athlete. He definitely deserves to be in the conversation and I believe a finalist for Mr. Basketball. Would be huge for our conference possibly to get 2 players as finalist.

Cadon Buckles from Hampton should definitely be in the conversation. Humble young man who does not care about personal awards, just wants to win. Team is sitting 18-5 right now ranked #3 in the State AP Polls in Single A. 24 points per game, 4 rebounds a game, 3 assists a game, 2 steals a game, 81% foul shots, 56% from the field. 1000pt career club. Then Mr. Basketball is to take in academics as well. Cadon has a weighted GPA of 4.7 for his High School classes, 32 ACT Composite score, then he has a 4.0 at Northeast State Community College where he will graduate with his College Associates Degree prior to graduation of High School and has a 4.0 there making the Presidents List. Cadon plays for a team that he doesn’t get sets ran for him and they just play the game. I really feel like this young man Cadon Buckles should be in the conversation at the very least. Feel also, JasonBritton from NG should be in the discussion. Very talented young man and player.

Cadon Buckles from Hampton has led his team to 0 losses from A-AA or AAA schools in Tennessee. Only loses from Tennessee Schools are to defending State 4A State Champions Dobyns-Bennett, 4A Farragut and 4A Oak Ridge. Other 2 losses was in Orlando, FL against William R Boone and Oviedo both have 6x the enrollment of students as a 7A and a 6A school there in Florida. Middletons schedule is ranked 60th of 80ish Single A schools in Tennessee. Taking nothing away from any of these kids just putting facts out there. Feel like all the kids I have seen mention should be in the conversation for sure

I have read a lot of posts on here about who is going to win and why... Bottom line is .. The TEAM with the most points at the end of the game will win.. Yes I am pulling for Hampton... But I also do NOT see either team not being ready to play.. This should be a great matchup... If Hampton gets beat.. I will be there Sat to support my love of High School Basketball... The young men on all these to have made all their communities so so PROUD of them win or lose.. Hope to see a good clean game and good luck and safe trip to all making the trip to the Boro from Hampton or Lake Co..4am will be early tommorrow to drive back down.. Wouldnt Miss it for anything.... Go Dogs...

This should be a great game.. No push overs are left now.. Any of the 8 teams that are at the Boro will have a chance to win in Class A ... I for one cant wait to get down there and watch some great high school basketball.. I will cheer on my Hampton Bulldogs in game one 10am.. Then will stay and watch and support the Cloudland Highlanders.. Playing any team at the state tourny worries me because they are ALL GOOD... Any type of an off day will spell doom for any team now. GO DAWGS... Dont care how many points ya win by... Just make it at least ONE....

Good luck to both teams tonight from the far east Hampton Bulldogs.... Rockwood was a very classy team when they played us last week and thank you for that and I would expect the same from them again this week. The Rockwood fans were wonderful just as were the Bulldog fans... We may have come up a lil short here at Hampton but trust me we all would LOVE to see Rockwood in the state title game... Good luck to both teams and once again Congrads too both Rockwood and Boyd-Buchanan... Wish I lived closer I would go and watch... Rockwood have a safe trip down and back....

Well... Its almost Friday Night... Dang... I wish it would hurry and get here....To all the Hampton and Rockwood players and coaches .... Congrads on making it here to the 3rd round... To the Rockwood players, coaches and fans ... have a wondeful and safe trip up as it is not the shortest of trips to make but it sure is nice to at least be making football trips this time of the year...now as far as the game... I have seen the lights on all week VERY late into the evening and seems like the H-Town boys are practicing well....I am sure Rockwood is doing the same.. From all indications this will be mirror images of each other... I do think Hampton however as more deep and long play options than Rockwood... Hampton played very well last week in the second half... If we play the ENTIRE 48mins all out... Then I think Hampton wins by 2TDS... My pick.... Hampton 27 Rockwood 13......to be honest... i dont care if its Hampton 2 and Rockwood 0....... its all about WINNING.... nothing else matters at this time of the year...... Well here we are in round #3 how does everyone think this game should shape up. Both teams have played a couple of common teams... And on paper this one looks to be even... Its early but I will take Hampton in this one by 2TDS at the most... Its the 3rd round sO evryone should be pretty even,,, Does anyone on here know that much about Rockwood that would care to share some insight... Just would also like to say Congrads too both Rockwood and Hampton's players and coaches for making it this far...May the best team win and may they play safe.. To the Rockwood fans have a safe trip up.. And to the Hampton fans.. Lets get a few more out there at the game this week..... GO DAWGS......

Well.... I dont get on here and say very much to often.... But the comment that TP would win by 30... thats a very strong statement and like another fellow DAWG fan I do hope that TP makes that LONGGGGGG 3.5hr bus ride up here thinking that... I do think however this will be a hard fought game with Hampton coming out on top by 7-10 points maybe more... but who knows,,, I know there has been some things said about Hampton's schedule .. but we were foreced to play teams like and this is no disrespect to them but Hancock Co.( they played a very hard game) North Greene(simply does not have talent to keep up) Cosby (which is down a lil and had a Mr. Do anything player in Hertzog #5) Cloudland(this team had alot of hype going into the start of the year kinda fizzeled out tho and then just simple got out played by a tremendous group of Sophmores from Sunbright(only 3 Sr.'s and #15 watch out for this kid.. WOWOW) last night) games were in our region. So... what did we do .. we picked up games against 3A Johnson Co who made the playoffs and lost to a pretty darn good Austin East team by 2TDS)(played them twice due to could not get anyone else to fill the schedule with a resonible driving distance) 3A Happy Valley (was a very hard fought game that we were lucky to win) but good teams like us and TP will find ways to win... and yes i did say TP is a good team because they are a good team) then we also played 4A Sullivan East ( this team also had alot of hype going into the season and injuries just killed them .. we was up 34-0 in the second quar... ) Basically what i am getting at is that we are a good football team whos schedule and record now mean nothing... We must earn each and every win and play to the best that we can... This is now a mini season each week with the season on the line and I hope that we come out on top.... My pick is Hampton 32 TP 23 Go Dawgs.... also hope TP has a very safe trip up here and back... this is one of the bad things with the playoffs is the very long drives.. to all the Hampton fans come out and come out in force to support these athletes and coaches... Lets have a HUGE crowd on hand and lets show TP what its like to play at Hampton... Hope that cannon goes off at least 4 times... Go DAWGS,.,,,,,,
