I think South Pittsburg will win this game again. They will defeat Whitwell for the second time on there home floor.

The Jackets got Shalacked. This was a good win for the Pirates. The Pirates won by 30.

There are good football coaches at public and private schools.

Whitwell can't even beat Sale Creek? Richard Hardy will be a very tough game too.

I think I read where that big giant kid that is a junior is being looked at by Tennessee. That kid is a monster. I checked him out on the rivals website. East Ridge should win a lot of games based on sure size with that guy.

Marion has much young talent. They should win BIG in the next several seasons in basketball. Nohope, do you have a boy playing on the team? Marion should win a lot of games this season. I would say at least a .500 record by the end of the season should be accomplished.

Coach Allen recruiting? No, come on now that would never happen. LOL. If he stays there, Silverdale will be a major force in 1A football within the next 5 years.

Marion County playing Gordonsville in the jungle on week zero could spell disaster. Gordonsville will be AWESOME next season.

Cloudland and a wide open passing attack don't seem like they go together like peas and carrots to me.

You better throw Friendship in that mix too. They didn't lose many players from that team. I watched the game on TV and they have many returning players.

Raoul heard that Marion and SP would be played on week one. Don't quote me on that, but I did hear that from someone.

I just don't see it happening for Marion County anytime soon. They are stuck in that region with Boyd and Tyner. I know they upset Boyd this season, but can they beat them year in and year out? They are also in 2A where they don't have the personnel to beat teams like Smith County and Sweetwater, much less powers such as CPA, DCA, Camden, JCS, Milan, Huntingdon, Westview and not to mention Alcoa. I am sorry but they don't have any type of chance to advance past the second round of the playoffs. I wish them the best of luck, but it won't happen.

Marion will be some improved next season. However, with the region they play in and the out of region schedule I saw on here they will be pressed to break the 5-5 mark. Tyner, Boyd, South Pitt and Gordonsville will probably all be favored against them next season.

This is a good thing and should be allowed. Many players may never have the chance to go to a championship game much less play in one.
